Hetty's inspiration with Michael Strong stamps

I have had a very wonderful, but tyring weekend. In The Netherlands there was a big Stamp Convention and for this convention Michael Strong was here and stayed at my house. We had so much fun together and we even made a video tutorial.
I hope you hop over to my blog and will take a look: Octagon Slot video tutorial.
Here I made a sample and used the antiqued glimmers technique for the background, but also to stamp on with the octagon stamp. The little dots you see are very shiny little stickers called class a'peel stickers by Stampendous that Mike brought along with him.
Here is also an other sample with the Octagon stamp (3 sizes in a packet) by Michael Strong. For this card I used the modern art technique that is used for try that technique in Thursday. Also you see the metallic pop technique. Here I stamped and embossed the three sizes with silver and added a tassle on the smallest stamp. Both are very simple techniques, but with great result.
If you would like to see an impression of the stamp convention in The Netherlands, please take a look HERE.
