Joint Blog Hop with eclectic Paperie, and Sweet & Sassy Stamps!

Good morning from Judy Jackson. I am a Design Team member for the Technique Junkie Newsletter.    I love stamping and I love using new techniques to create cards, scrapbook pages, and various projects!   This is a Joint Blog Hop for three wonderful companies -- Technique Junkie newsletter, eclectic Paperie, and Sweet and Sassy Stamps.   I used the Pocket Post-It Pad technique from the Technique Junkie Great Gifts CD which all of the projects come from for this Blog Hop!
eclectic Paperie is an online boutique for all who love paper crafts. They have an eclectic assortment of products, supplies, tools, and materials to assist you in your quest for creative expression.  They know you will find something to "feed your creativity".
Technique Junkie Newsletter is a bi-monthly publication with step by step tutorials which encourage you to use your supplies in fun and creative ways. TJN also produces tutorial CDs with printable PDFs in a variety of themes.

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is a small, family-owned, Christian company offering exclusive images and designs in both clear and digital stamps.  They also carry a small number of exclusive die designs, some of which coordinate with our stamps.

And now for my project:

I will tell you there is a slight error in the instructions for this technique.  You will need to score at 3 1/4, 3 3/4, and at 4 1/4 inches to create this wonderful project.

I used papers, buttons, Baker's Twine,  hat pins,  and a cloth tag from eclectic Paperie.  I used the Vintage Ornaments Clear Stamp Set  from Sweet and Sassy Stamps.

These people are  participating in the Joint Blog Hop:
From Sweet 'n' Sassy Stamps:
Monika Davis
Ceal Pritchett
Giovana Smith
Cathy McCauley
Jennie Harper

From Technique Junkie Newsletter:
Judy Jackson
Holly Brown
Ann Clark
Jane Bosi
Jackie Kalchert
Pat Huntoon

From eclectic Paperie:
Sherry Cheever
Mary-Ann Maldanado
Micki Harper
Broni Holcombe
Julie Masse
Here are other views of my project:

I added some of the paper from eclectic Paperie on the inside to add some more stability to my project.
And here is some important information for you:
Each of the companies will be giving away a prize randomly drawn from their designers' blogs as follows:
eclectic Paperie: 25% discount on a future order
Swwet 'n' Sassy Stamps: $15 store credit
Technique Junkie Newsletter: Great Gifts CD or any TJN CD of winner's choice
  • The winners will be posted on each company's blog by Sunday, December 9th
  • To be included in the prize drawings, please comment by midnight Friday, December 7th.

My supplies from eclectic Paperie are paper from Echo Park: Winter Wishes, Baker's Twine from The Twinery - http://eclecticpaperie.com/twinery.html, buttons from http://eclecticpaperie.com/buttonsgalore.html, crystal hat pin from http://eclecticpaperie.com/mayaroad1.html, and a mini canvas banner from http://eclecticpaperie.com/micapeba.html

What a great little gift to give someone early in the season. There truly is something special about having a cute little journal for notes, to do lists, gift ideas, etc. There can be so much to do around the holidays and writing reminders on post it notes or scraps of paper is just not efficient or as cute as this.
