Velveteen Stamping

Welcome to my addition of the Technique of the Week
Velveteen Stamping

I have to admit that this is one of those times that I had such a wonderful time stamping. So much so that I became addicted and made three cards. I just couldn't stop myself, LOL!
I hope you can see the floral detail inside of the red diamonds. I was so surprised at the impact this technique made on a b/g stamp that is only a bunch of diamond shapes. Both of the stamps used on the main image are from Stamp Camp, the sentiment stamp is from Stamp a Mania.

On to my next example. I must give somewhat of an explanation regarding these next 2 cards. I had a limited source of bold/solid stamps that would allow the white pigment inked image to come out on the bold/solid image as it does on the card above and the instructions. One the next two cards, you will notice that the bold/solid part of the stamps are the b/g and not the image (in both cases flowers.)
You could say I suppose that these cards are the Velveteen Stamping technique in reverse.I cannot say I was disappointed with the results, on the contrary...I was thrilled. So here they are ;

The main images used on this card are also from Stamp Camp. The sentiment is from G Studio. Can you see what I mean about it being the technique in reverse?

Once again both main image stamps are from Stamp Camp and the sentiment is from G Studio.

Thanks so much for looking. I hope I didn't bore you with my verbiage, but I felt the explanation of the last 2 cards was necessary.
Have a wonderfully creative week! "See you soon."
