Day 16 of the 30 Days of Christmas
Oh Deer! Reindeer, that is. Today is Day 16 of the 30 Days of Christmas, and I am here to show you two cards using theChristmas Reindeer Stamp. I especially like the card above, because it combines the deer image with the new Winter Foliage Background stamp.
To make this card:
Color the Reindeer with markers, pencils, chalks, etc. Cut out the deer.
To color the background, use 3 monochromatic colors directly on the Winter Foliage background, outline the outer edge with the darkest color. Stamp onto card stock.
To create layering pieces for the deer, die cut two frame dies from two complementary paper pieces. On the larger piece, stamp the Winter Foliage stamp in the darkest ink color (from the base piece). Use a marker to highlight just the Peace on Earth Sentiment from the Peace on Earth Stamp.
Pop the first die cut using pop dots, then layer the other frame die and reindeer over them.
Our second look features the Faux Canvas Technique.
To make this card:
Color the Reindeer with markers, pencils, chalks, etc.
Emboss the colored piece with a Crosshatch Embossing Folder. Use a tan or gray ink to lightly highlight the crosshatches.
