Wings N' Roses

Hey there Junkies!  The Crafty Nurse here today.

Have you seen those great cards and projects featured on the design team hop yesterday?  Wow, what a talented bunch!

Today, I'm here to add another taster from the August release called "Never Stop Flying".  I anticipate this will be a crowd favorite.

My background started using a Tim Holtz rose stencil and embossing paste.  Once that dried, I sprayed Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst in Azure Sea Aster, Open Arms Amythest, and French Lilac Violet. I then applied a layer of foil tape around the edges to frame out the background.

For my focal image, I began with glossy cardstock using the Alcohol Stencil Technique from the Sensational Stencil CD.  I stamped "Never Stop Flying" with Versafine Black Onyx ink and embossed with clear. I then added additional color to her wings using Zig Clean Clear Brush Markers in Lilac and Cobalt Blue, fussy cut her out and used dimensional tape. Those wispy silver pieces coming from behind her are actually the pieces I cut off the edges of foil tape and I liked they way they curled so added them to her wings.  Let your creativity Fly!!!!
