You have until June 11th to enter. Winner will be announced June 12th.

A few simple rules.

You must use Technique Junkies stamps to be chosen to win a prize.

You must use the challenge technique in your project (that's the challenge!)

No linking old projects. Projects must be new.

Please list Technique Junkies stamps with links in your project posts.

Please link directly to your project (not a general blog).

If you have a problem linking to the challenge contact Jeanne

The challenge is Shaped Stencils
For this technique you will need a shaped die cut, low tack tape (or washy tape), a sponge and your regular card making supplies (cardstock, adhesive, ect).

Die cut any open shaped die cut you'd like to use on a spare piece of cardstock. I cut mine the same shape as my card so I could line it up easily.

Make a sandwich with your die cut mask on top, your stencil (A Colorful Life - Circle Mosaic) and your cardstock below. Once you have your cardstock bottom layer lined up use low tack tape to secure all the layers before sponging.

Sponge ink (or paint) through the masked area.
I splattered some thinned white acrylic paint onto mine after sponging.

Using my MISTI I stamped the Watercolor Giraffe in brown ink and the sentiment from Things I Want To Do in black ink. I finished my card by adding a few shadows to the giraffe with markers, rounding the corners and adding a border with a fine black pen.

Supplies used:
Inks: Ranger Distress (Dried Marigold, Vintage Photo, Ground Espresso, Archival Black)
MISTI stamp tool
low tack tape
sponge
white acrylic paint

Have a great day! Jeanne
