If you have a problem linking to the challenge contact Jeanne

The challenge is... Transitional Ombre
You can see the original tutorial HERE

For my version of this technique you will need:

white cardstock
dye inks (I used Ranger Distress inks)
ink blending tool (or sponge)
background stamp
googlie eyes (hehe...)
black pen

for the original version you would use cardstock and dies

Here's my project:

I started by swiping 3 colors of ink (Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon) on the
S178 Marble Swirl Background stamp. I used a sponge to soften between the colors.
Reink and stamp (using the sponge each time) until you have a nice blend.

Cut the background into random width strips.

Sponge edges with the same inks. Attach your strips to a
cardstock base and then trim to the size of the strips.
Attach panel to card base.

Next I stamped my sentiment from SS408 Double Weird Sayings
and trimmed it and put it on my card.

Here's a close up of the finished card.
I doodle some smiles on and added googlie eyes.

How about a discount?
