What day is it?  What day is it?  It's Hump Dayyyyy..woot woot.  Don't you love that commercial?  Makes me laugh right out loud.

Tricia here today with a new card.  I made this card for my uncle's birthday.  He loves old cards and my mom wanted a card for him.  I used a new time stencil that I bought as I thought it would go great behind this sweet old car from Fred She Said.  I love coloring this truck like it's rusty.

Ruff Day?

Hello friends. Beth Norman here with this week's technique--Simply Framed.  At first I was intimidated by this technique, but I quickly learned how easily it goes together.  I love how this stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Collection, pulled together so nicely.   There just isn't enough dog stamp sets out there, is there?

Well, the fall weather is upon us here in Southern Ontario, Canada, which makes me hibernate in my stamp room.  I hope you're able to do the same.  Let's see what you can do with this technique too.

Two Cards using Embossed Alcohol Inks by Judy Jackson

Hello from Judy Jackson!  This is such a fun technique.  I love embossing folders and alcohol inks.   And this technique uses BOTH!  But the looks you get are vastly different.  Is your thinking process intrigued?  Well this technique is in the current newsletter! 

When I unmounted my wood mounted rubber stamps I tried to keep track of the stamp company for each stamp. Well here are two stamps and I do not know who made them.  do you?  Please let me know.

Try that Technique - Simple Frames

Tricia here and it's that time again and you are in for a treat.  This quick and easy technique is so versatile you just have to play along.  What a great technique to use to get a lot of cards done in a short amount of time.

I used stamps from Mark's Finest Papers.  I can't get over how easy this was to do and how lovely the results.  I can see me using this technique more and more.

Holly Brown: True Art Glazed Shaving Cream Flowers

Hi Junkies!  It's Holly posting today, and I used this week's Technique of the Week - Glazed Shaving Cream Shapes - on my card.  I used stamps from Stamp Camp, one of our TJ vendors, and a flower die from Classy Cards 'n Such, another TJ vendor, for my glazed shaving cream shapes.  I love this quote from Albert Einstein as it describes all of us Junkies so perfectly.  This sentiment is also from Stamp Camp, part of a stamp set with more quotes from Albert Einstein.

Broken Borders: an easy and fun technique

Here is my card with Club Scrap Tribal papers and 

stamps and also the butterfly stamp by Michael Strong.

I used a spiderweb border punch and a geometrical 

border punch for this card.

Here a close up of the bottom part of the card.

I used some washi tape in the middle of the border for

decoration. I made this washi tape myself.

Try that Technique - Glazed Shaving Cream shapes

Happy Sunday -- Tricia here with this weeks Try That Technique -- Glazed Shaving Cream Shapes.

This such an easy and fun technique.  I used some left over shaving cream backgrounds that I had in my stash.  I cut the hearts out with my cricut machine.   I saw a similar design on Pinterest and loved the look of it.
