Doesn't a lighthouse by the ocean seem a calming feature on the landscape? Every lighthouse was styled differently. What an important job the old lighthouse keepers had!
I decided to use the collaged circles technique as the background. I used these calming colors of designer paper and alternated the colors as I worked through this project. The twine seems to hold down the circles behind the light house.
This is an easy useful project -- what a wonderful way to use scraps of designer paper hiding in our stamp/scrap/craft rooms! It adds terrific visual interest as well.
I used water color pencils to color in the focal image. Stamp credits belong to Stampin' Up -- a retired set which I enjoy using!
I hope you are able to do some crafting today.
