Today I am showcasing the Wild Poppies stamp set. It is such a versatile stamp set that can be used a variety of ways with many different sentiments. My focal technique was simply coloring with alcohol markers. After I colored the image a postage die was used to cut it. The 'Thinking of You' sentiment was heat embossed. Beautiful image that makes for a pretty card!

Stamping Super Powers
Hello!
Memorial day will be here in just a few short weeks. I know for many it marks the start of the summer season. I'm not going to lie... I'm so excited for the BBQs, warm weather, and flip flops. I always think it is important to remember the actual reason for the holiday as well. It is to remember and thank all the people who have died and served our wonderful nation. I have some family and friends that are currently serving in our armed forces. I made them some cards so they would get some happy mail in the next few weeks. I hope this inspires you to use your crafty super powers and get out your patriotic stamps and do the same.
Happy Crafting,
Chris

Wildflower Corner with Flower Soft and a Road Trip
I moved here to Brasil with all of my pots of Flower Soft and, after stamping the Wildflower Corner stamp, I knew it would be perfect to use on the flowers.
How did I make this card?
- I started with a top-folding A2 card made from red cardstock.
- I die-cut two pieces of white cardstock using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die. One, I adhered to the inside of the card for a message.
- Using the 2nd, I stamped the Wildflower Corner using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then I stamped the sentiment "a journey is best measured in Friends, rather than miles" from Road Trip, Set of 6 (a great set).
- Next, working from top to bottom, I applied some glue to the flowers (one by one), dropped the flower soft on top, waited a few minutes, and then removed the excess. The colors I used are Autumn, Lavender, Baby Blue, and Lemon.
- While it was drying, I colored in the other flowers using some Tombow markers. Then I set it aside to fully dry.
- Lastly, I adhered some red crystals to the card front that matched the cardstock.

Lizard Lore
I broke out of my A2 card rut to make this oversized square card featuring the new Lovely Lizards stamp and the previously released African Proverbs sentiment. I stamped the lizards and colored with four shades of green markers, adding red gems for their eyes. Doodled the border and double mounted on blue and green cardstock. The saying is an older one 'getting old' with the inside saying to match
The next card I am sharing today is the 'wildflower corner' stamp
using my pens I inked up the stamp - spritzed with water then stamped. Love the results !!!
The saying is from the new set 'cancer sucks'
