Pat here -- My card today uses the Antique Bookplate from the October 2011 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter. I love this easy technique! Such a stunning result, and you don't need alot of supplies to do it, either! I think I will make a bunch of these for my Christmas cards (I make 70 or so cards; and I get bored making all of the same kind, so it is fun to have a variety!).  That is assuming, of course, that we still have a Post Office by Christmas (my worst nightmare, of course).

Distressed Windows Try That!

Hello!!! {Jane Bosi} bringing you this week's Try That Technique. Although it's a bit late in the announcement (so sorry), it is fun and easy to accomplish!! We are using the Distressed Windows technique from the most recent newsletter! So, while it's still out sitting on your desk, let's get busy!

Decorated Clips: Music

Hello Dear TJ Friends~

It's me, Kathie McGuire, here once again with some Decorative Clips! (Note: Making these is addictive--they are soooo much fun to do.) After making six of them for a friend, I thought a coordinating card might be a nice addition to the gift. I stamped the image from Stampin' Up! onto white cardstock and backed it with some black cardstock.

You can find this fabulous project on the 3D and Fancy Folds CD. These are easy to make and are great for gift-giving year 'round!

Newsprint Reveal Deluxe by Judy Jackson

Good day from Judy Jackson. Have you watched the video from Pat about this technique through the TJ website? She gives lots of tips on how to successfully use this technique.

I used stamps from Stampin' Up and SmARTworks. I really do like the way this Newsprint Reveal works -- just lovely. And it is a "Green" card in that you recycle newspaper!

Pink Power

Hello!

Hetty here with some Pink Power.

You all know

October is Breast Cancer Awereness Month

and so this card is in honour of this.

The image is by Create with TLC and it

is a freebie if you go HERE.

I made this card into an easel card (you find the instructions

on the Fancy Fold and Motion Paper Craft CD)

and used the "Double Emboss & Cut" technique.

This you can find on the Oct/Nov 2011 Newsletter.

The images are printed on Kraft paper and colored with pencils.

The fun thing with digital stamps is that you can use them any

size you want and even mirror them.

Stampsmith Show, Here I Come!

{Jane Bosi} I am stoked for the Stampsmith's Greater New York Stamp Show 2011!! Yes, this little Wisconsin girl is headin to the Big City to teach a few classes, hang with some friends and have a wonderful time--won't you come, too?This is one of the classes I will be offering. It features a great project from the first Fancy Folds CD--the Easel Card Box. I'll also be teaching the Color Dusting technique (found in the August 2003 edition) using these fabby images from Stampsmith :) I have adored the Wizard of Oz my whole life and, now, my kiddos do too. They love these images as much as I do! You know you do--right?
