Distressed Rainbow Strips

Good morning friends.  This is Beth Norman with Distressed Rainbow Strips.  As you can see I created a bright and colourful version.  I had a lot of fun using this technique and made several backgrounds at one time.

My knome, from Impression Obsession, one of our sponsors, was watercoloured with Tombow markers.  Isn't this little fella cute as a button?  The background is also from Impression Obsession.

Distressed Rainbow Stripes-Aug/Sept Newsletter

Hello TJ Friends! Kathie McGuire here on your Memorial Day weekend. I hope everyone's had a wonderful and creative weekend. Distressed Rainbow Strips

Greetings Junkies!

Nancy Dawson here with one of my favorite techniques - Distressed Rainbow Strips. It is such an easy and effective technique. This tutorial was in the August/September 2013 newsletter!

I used the new World Map background stamp from Stampin' Up along with The Open Sea for the focal point. My card is accented with two Word Window strips and added brads. So what ya waiting for, GIVE this a TRY!

Holly Brown - Top Note Purse

Hi folks, it's Holly posting today.  I'm sharing this sweet Top Note Purse with you as a blast from the past.  Remember the 3D and Fun Folds CD?  You can find this Top Note Purse technique on that CD.  I've created mine with kraft cardstock and some pretty patterned papers from my stash.  The paper flower was originally white, but I painted it with some Sea Foam Creative Inspirations Paint - it's so shimmery and metallic-y.  I added a satin ribbon to the center of the purse for a handle.  So cute!!

Embossed Alcohol ink

Hello technique lovers, Hetty here with another sample of a technique from the

August/September 2013 newsletter that is just full with wonderful techniques.

Have you tried the embossed alcohol technique. I noticed lately that the alcohol ink 

is getting populair again, soget out those bottles, embossing foldersand

a sheet of acetate for this new technique.

My sample is made with the woodgrain embossing folder and

a stamp by Art Neko.

Altered Designer Paper with Art Neko Stamp by Judy Jackson

Hello from Judy Jackson.  I just love these poppies from Art Neko.   Then I altered the designer paper and morphed it a bit by coloring in the flower in the designer paper to match the poppy.    The Altered Designer Paper technique is from the April/May 2009 Newsletter and is a fun one to use -- especially when the designer paper isn't always to your liking!  You can change it up a bit!

Early Gradient Stamping

Hey, Stampers!  Ann Clack here with a really early Valentines cards using the Gradient Stamping technique from the most recent Technique Junkie newsletter.  I know, we haven't even had Halloween and I'm getting out the Valentines day stamps!  Sometimes when mojo hits, you just have to go with what he hands you!!  ;-)

The splat stamps that are in the corner and the shadow stamp under the Love word were in a stamp set from Hero, I believe.  My lovely daughter, Angie, got them for me.  So sweet of her!!
