Speckled Words by Judy Jackson

The instructions for this dramatic, but simple,  technique are in the current newsletter. I am truly sorry you cannot see the glimmer mist on this card -- it really adds something special to the front of the card. With the addition of some ribbon, some silk flowers and this is a card that will be received with joy. :)

May you have true joy this very special season of the year!  Merry Christmas everyone!

Washi shape for Christmas

Hello Technique Junks!

Hetty here and as of lately I am addictad
to washi tape. Just can't get enough of it
and luckily there is a tutorial in the latest
TJ Newsletter called Washi Shapes.

This card is made with the flower die by Michael
Strong as well as his leave stamp and the sentiment.
For the background I used some musical paper
out of a book I got at a flea market sale.

If you want to see another sample please
come over to my Craftchaos Blog.

Have a creative day!

Measure the strips, punch out some circles, arrange, and you are nearly done!

Stamps are this card are from Stampin' Up.

I hope you are well on your way to having all of your stamping and scrapping, and shopping done for Christmas. That way you can really enjoy the rest of this special season of the year.

Triple Die Time

It's Jackie K back again this time with Triple Die Time from the October/November newsletter.
For this card I just wanted to highlight the flower with the triple dies as opposed to the entire image. I was happy with the results. The flower stamp is from Rubber Stampede and the small verse which I love so much is from Art Neko.
Another fun technique to try if you haven't already.
See you back here soon.
Happy Stamping!!!!

Speckled Words

Hello Everyone, Jackie K here with an example of the Speckled Word Technique.

I had a lot of fun making this card, as I love to color and going dotty was a blast. It wasn't until I finished and looked at the card at a distance, that I realized how effective this technique is. I can imagine using this for many occasions and one thing that comes to mind are place cards. I know my grandchildren would get a kick out of seeing their names dotty style.
Give it a try wont you and post your results to the yahoo group for us all to enjoy.
All stamps are from Club Scrap.

Simple Frames meets Paper Piecing

Hi Junkies, Tricia here...a little late this week.  I am finishing up my Christmas Cards and I made this easy card using stamps from Gina K Designs and Stampin Up!

I colored the stuff in the bag with copics.  I cut out the bag from the Gina K Designs cardstock that I also used for the card.

Sentiment is from Stampin Up!

Hope you enjoy your weekend.  Have a crafty Day!
