New Stamps, a Blog Hop, and a 15% Discount!

Welcome!
Today is September 1st - and that means we have new stamps! To celebrate, the Technique Junkies Design Team has put together an inspiring Blog Hop to show off the 14 new stamps! Although this release features many new Halloween stamps, there are several (about 1/3) of the stamps that are NOT Halloween related. There is something for everyone!

In addition to the hop, you can take advantage of a 15% discount off the September Release Stamps from today through September 8th.

Ready for some inspiration?

First I have a card using the new Witchy Moon image over the new Graveyard Background. The sentiment is the new Happy Halloween sentiment:

Next, this pretty and inspirational stamp is called It Takes Courage:

and finally (at least for this blog!) is the new Trick or Treat Banner:

Ready for the rest of the hop? Here is the line-up:

Once you've had a chance to see all the inspirational artwork in the hop, make sure to go back to the September New Releases to shop and get your 15% discount!

Hope you love the new stamps!

Black Cat

Hello Fellow Junkies!!

Kathy, The Crafty Nurse here.

It's almost time for the September Blog Hop tomorrow and in preparation for that, I've created a Halloween card using last years September Release called "Black Cat #SD615".  He's stamped on a background of Distress Watercolor.

Please join us in the morning for the Design Teams showcase of September 2016 Technique Junkies release.

See you there!!

Stand Tall

Hi there fellow stampers.  Beth Norman here with a popular stamp called Stand Tall.

To create my card I used watercolor paper, and  started by inking my stamp with VersaMark and heat embossing with white embossing powder.  Next, I tapped out some Colorbursts onto the watercolor paper then spritzed with water.

To create my corners, I had extra watercolor paper that I sprinkled with Colorbursts and spritzed water.  Using my Cricut corner die, I cut out four corners and glued the corners onto my card front.

This was a fun technique that can be used with Bisters or any other watercolor pigment powders.

Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Friends

Greetings Inky Friends!

Today I want to share a Birthday Card of these lovely Three Amigas who got together
to sing a song for you!  I used the IKAT Background to add to the western feel.
The background was colored using Distress Crayons and Inks and the ladies were colored with Distress markers and edged with blending some Distress Ink as well.
I stamped the Birthday Song greeting twice and punched it out with a 2" circle punch.
I colored one with Distress Crayons and cut the words only from the second inking,
popping it up on the colored greeting.

I love how so many of the TJ stamps can be intertwined with each new release!
So be sure to check them out!

Until next time...
Happy Creating!

Just Look Up

Good morning Junkies! Pam here todaywith another project using the Technique Junkies fantabulous stamps!
Today's project is near and dear to my heart. It's an awful feeling when one loses a pet-a very special member of the family. Last year we lost our beloved Golden Quincy to lymphoma. So this project is in his honor.

The stamps featured in this card are Just Look Up  from the August release and the background stamp   Star Power.
The stars were stamped first and then I used a cloud stencil over top to give it a "heavenly" feel.
The main image was stamped with Versafine black ink and covered with clear embossing power and colored with Zig Clear brush markers and of course a bit of Wink of Stella for his wings.
Thanks for joining me today and please check back often for more great inspiration from the talented design team!

Here's a card I made with LOTS and LOTS of layers!

I used this little diddy of a stamp...
SD402__JavaJive
It's easy to get a grungy, coffee look by rubbing brown ink on the edges of each of the papers.

Thanks for coming by and taking a look!
