Here are the how to's:

1. Make a card from kraft cardstock.

2.Make a background with thinned (with water) white& pink acylic paint.

3. Using the MISTI, stamp the Poinsettias from Poinsettia (Set of 4) with IZINK ink - Framboise (Raspberry)

4. Using the MISTI, stamp the phrase from (also from Poinsettia (Set of 4) in black.

 5. Add white Nuvo drops near the phrase and accent flower centers with a white gel pen.

Day 11 of the Technique Junkies 30 Days of Christmas

Welcome to Techniques Junkies 30 days of Christmas.  Today is day 11.  

Lynda Joy here with a fun card using an adorable stamp set from the November release.

Let's Chill Set of 7


I used the stamp set Let's Chill Set of 7 to create my winter scene with the adorable penguins.


I stamped the images onto bristol card stock, and colored them with real brush markers.  I fussy-cut the penguins, and added them to a background I had created.   I sponged a blue sky onto a white A2 card, then die cut some glitter card stock 'snow piles,' and added them to the card front.

I attached the penguins, and added some die cut snowflakes, and the 'Winter is warmer together' verse.  Some white acrylic paint spots for snowflakes finish the front.

Inside:  I stamped the 'Let's Chill' verse, added it to a scrap piece of pp, and attached it to the inside.  I added one of the fussy cut penguins.

Easy and fun card!

Day 10 of the 30 days of Christmas with Technique Junkies Stamps

 Hello everyone.

It's Ceal, here to share with you a card using a stamp from the November release, Snowman. Simple enough right?

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the snowman with fadeout ink and colored him using the no line coloring technique.  After I got him all colored I masked him off and created the background using distress inks. I added the greeting from the Victorian Greeting set.

Day 9 of the Technique Junkies 30 Days of Christmas

Welcome to Day 9 of the 30 Days of Christmas! Today, Friday November 1st, is also release day for Technique Junkies, o you will see two posts on our blog - the New Release Post and this one.  Double Duty today!

Today I have a vintage-style Christmas card that uses the Reindeer Names stamp with the Merry Christmas Sentiment stamp:

Both images were stamped using a deep chocolate ink pad on Kraft card stock, then edged with brown ink. I used the Fired Brick Nuvo Glitter Marker to color the Merry Christmas words, and the green and gold Glitter Gel Pen from the Kaisercraft Gel Pens set.

Day 8 of the Technique Junkies 30 Days of Christmas

Today is Day 8 of the Technique Junkies 30 Days of Christmas and today I have a Colorful Chris-Moose for you. This sweet stamp from the #MittenStateStamps line for Technique Junkies is a fun and cheerful way to celebrate Christmas.

I colored my moose with Copic Markers, using the same technique to make the lights in his antlers glow as I used in the Holiday Lights tutorial a few weeks ago.  Doesn't he just make you smile?
