Little Black Cat

Happy Wednesday!

I think any animal goes with everything so this new stamp is my kind of stamp.

I created the background by adding some light blue ink on a light blue card and then added some glitter, I stamped A Little Black Cat in black ink and then cut it out and added it onto the card.

Being a Family

Hello folks! This is such a wonderful stamp, and I'm sure you have seen a lot of beautiful cards from the Design Team.  For my card, I turned to Pinterest to look at colour combinations and I thought this one was an interesting one.  I hope you like.

I gold embossed the sentiment on the peacock colour and heat embossed on the rustic orange colour.

For 10% off this stamp called Being a Family, use the code above.  You can use it on the rest of the store as well.

Hello There!

Happy Monday!

I have a card to quick share today using Fab Phrases (set of 10).

I made the background by swiping 3 different colored ink pads directly onto the card to make an interesting pattern. I stamped the Hello in black ink.

Hope you enjoyed my project!

Hangin' With My Gnomes Card

Hello peeps!  Lynda Joy here, with a card using a stamp from the TJ May release.  You can find all the May release stamps HERE.  Use my discount code, TJ10Lynda, for 10% off your entire purchase at Technique Junkies.

Hangin' With My Gnomies SD1015
Gingham S416

I inked the Gingham with antique linen distress ink, and stamped it onto a light gray scrap, then cut it with a tag die.  I added it to a gray A2 card front with foam tape.

I stamped and black embossed the Hangin' With My Gnomies image, and used my Arteza real brush markers to watercolor the gnomes.  I used foam daubers with distress ink to add color to the verse part.  I added these to my tag.  I added some fibers from my stash to coordinate with the colors in my images.

That's that!  Easy-peasy.

I hope you have had a chance to check out the new May
stamps.  Did you get to play along with the WWDB challenge?  It was fun, and four lucky winners received a $50 gift certificate to the Technique Junkies store.

Watch for future challenges coming soon!

Thanks for stopping by.

Blessings,

Tulip with Text

Hello Friends!
It's Ceal here to share with you today. I have a card using the Tulip with Text from the May release.
You can save 10% on this stamp and your entire order by using my code TJ10Ceal

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base, a black panel and a white panel for the focal image. I stamped the image using a Copic friendly ink and then colored the tulip using Copic markers. I felt since the text was included on the stamp there was no need for a greeting.

Winds of Change and Pool Party

Hi there!

It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I wanted to share some cards using two of the May new release stamps, 'Winds of Change', and 'Pool Rules'. I also used an April release stamp 'Particle Flow'.

For this first card, I stamped Particle Flow in versamark ink on Kraft cardstock. I used my MISTI, and re-inked a few times, to get a good image. The image was stamped on Kraft, colored with Copic Markers, and matted with a dark coral mat. I used a scrap of patterned paper to break up the card base, and adhered the focal panel over the patterned paper strip with dimensional foam.

For this card, Particle Flow was stamped with Versamark Ink, and heat embossed with pink powder. I cut a piece out of the center of the card base front, for a fun way to mount the Winds of Change panel. The image was stamped on white cardstock with Memento Ink, and colored with Copic markers, then matted with green cardstock scrap.  While the scraps were out, I cut a couple of strips to add to the card base. The focal panel was adhered to top and bottom panel, leaving the center open. The inside of the card has a green mat and white panel for writing message.

I wasn't sure what to do with this darling Pool Rules stamp, so I stamped with a Kaleidacolor Ink Pad.  I drew a wading pool on white cardstock, colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut it out. After edging the Pool Rules with pink marker, I cut a slit in the pool waster, and slid my panel into the slit. I had two small scraps of alcohol ink pieces, and tucked them in behind the panel, and mounted everything onto a blue card base.

Are you smitten with the May release? I know I am!!! These are all stamps I will use often!

Don't forget!!! You can always save 10% on any order by entering TJ10Patti at checkout.

This was so easy to create! Hope you will give it a try!

Now, be sure to head over to the Technique Junkies store and check out the incredible new stamps this month!

Thanks for stopping by,

Patti J.

WWDB Challenge - Lotus Encouragement

Hi, stamp friends! We are in the final week of the What We Do Best Challenge (Encouragement) and I have a very feng shui card to share.

I am loving black and white on kraft paper these days, so I created a card with very basic colors, but such a soft image that it just seems to balance out. I used two stamp sets:
FENG SHUI (SD091)
LOTUS CORNER (SD999)

I just loved the "zen" combination of the Feng Shui sentiments with Lotus Corner. These two stamps were made for each other!!! (Not literally, lol. But I love them together!)
I stamped and embossed the lotus in white, then added a soft fill with a white colored pencil. I then added soft pink and green shades to lightly accent the flowers.

The sentiment was stamped and embossed in black. After cutting apart the sections, I added a sparkly black edge using a Nuvo Glitter Marker (Urban Graphite). I attached them with foam tape; four on the front and one on the inside. I also stamped and embossed the lotus on the inside of the card, but did not add any color to it. I did the same to the envelope.
I hope you have all been having fun with these challenges. Each week there has been a $50 gift certificate awarded via random draw to one of the lucky participants. It's not too late to play along! Simply post your card (must have an envelope!) on the Technique Junkies Facebook Page and add the hashtag: #WWDB for your chance to win.  I can't wait to see what you create!

If you like the products I've used today (or any other of the wonderful products at Technique Junkies), you can save a cool 10% by adding this special code at checkout:  TJ10Ro
Til next time,
