Best Friends...Gnome Matter What!

Hi there!

It's my day to post here on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I wanted to share a pretty card that I made using a stamp from the August 2020 Technique Junkies release.

For this card, I'm stamping with 'Gnomies Forever'. I am smitten with these cuties! You may need to enlarge this photo to see better.

The images were stamped onto white card stock, using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used a few Copic markers to color the images, then fussy cut them, and set them aside. Next, I folded a piece of white card stock into a slimline card, got out my Ink Blending Brushes, along with some fun ink colors, and created a background for my Gnomies. 

This was such a fun set to work with - I am pretty sure you 'need' these in your collection! I'm already working up a Christmas design with them!

LOVIN' THE SNARKY!

Hey, Junkies! Ro here today to share an adorably fun and snarky card with you. I'm using one of my favorite stamps in this new release on this card, along with another favorite OBG (oldie but goodie).

COFFEE KITTY (SD735)

This snarky sentiment is just too funny (and so true!!!). I paired it with the Coffee Kitty...the look on this cat's face is perfect for some of the snarky sentiments that Technique Junkies carries. You may remember Prison Orange that was released this past March. Coffee Kitty went well with that too! If you'd like to see that post from my blog, CLICK HERE.

This card was super fast and easy. I stamped the sentiment off-center of a die cut and matted panel. I stamped and cut out the kitty and attached it to the panel, which was then attached to an A2 card base. Using a fine black marker, I added the whimsical border.

All of the stamps in the Celebrate Diversity Set are timely and important, but this saying: "Do all things with love" is my personal favorite.  I thought it worked really well with the Floral Card Frame (previously released).

This beautiful stamp is called Chrysanthemums.   I colored it with Copic markers.  The verse is from Love, Faith, and Peace and is heat heat embossed.

Pink Faith Chrysanthemums

Did you see the gorgeous new Technique Junkies August 2020 release yesterday?  I'm using some more of those beautiful new stamps on this card today.  I stamped the Chrysanthemums with a pink ink onto pink cardstock - isn't that gorgeous?  I love this background!  Then I stamped the sentiment using words from the new Love, Faith, and Peace set.  You can mix and match the words for a different sentiment as needed.  That's a really neat feature for this set.
