Horse people know. There is nothing in this world like riding a horse. The freedom. The love. The connection.
This stamp is from the Technique Junkies To Ride a Horse stamp set. Pat Huntoon
Usually Z-fold cards are landscape orientation, But I wanted to try a "Portrait" card using Hillside Village. I chose to watercolor the homes in the same color range from the background paper. The two verses are from Something Will Grow and from Modern Encouragements.
The measurements are: Base card is 9 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 . Score at 4 1/4 and 2 3/4.
The tag is 3 inches by 2 inches. But you can make the tag to fit whatever verse you wish to put on the tag. Measure and use whatever background paper you wish.

Good morning, Junkies! It's Holly posting today and I've got a fun and colorful card to share with you. Did you see the new stamps this month? One of them is this new Dotted Blooms background stamp. I love it! I embossed the Dotted Blooms with white embossing powder and then used distress inks to make a colorful rainbow. After I applied the inks, I rubbed the embossed areas with a tissue to make those white blooms pop out. The sentiment is from the Five Fab Phrases set.
Easter is right around the corner! Our blue bunny is as sweet as your chocolate one!
The strip in the background uses an ancient Cuttlebug embossing folder that was swiped with the same blue ink as the bunny and heat embossed.
Mini Slimline cards - they fit into a regular envelope - are fun and addictive! Today we have a pretty little card for you that takes just minutes, and is very colorful, too. We have a kit for this card, in case you want to make your own - it contains the inks, stamp, and cardstock for making 5 cards. You can find the kit, and all of it's components, here:
You've gotta give it to horse girls. Tough as nails - and have seen and done it all! Stonework Stencil background (A Colorful Life Designs) using Distress Oxides.
Hello! I am so excited to be here for the first time as part of the TJ Design Team! My name is Tracy Shultz and I am sharing with you four of the many cards that I created featuring the Happy Easter Bunny and the Dotted Blooms Stamps. I probably made two dozen of these! It was so much fun to stamp out the bunny in springtime colors and to ink the background stamp using multiple colors of ink. This fun card is easy to make, so I hope that you will give it a try!
Card # 1 - Serenade Bunny. I stamped the bunny with Serenade light purple ink from Catherine Pooler. I used Tsukineko Radiant Cool Neon Ink, (quad combo: Electric Pink/Electric Purple/Electric Blue/Electric Green) to ink the background once. Then I rotated the paper and stamped again. This is what I call the double stamp technique. I used a die from my stash to create the blue-green grass. I then layered my background onto a piece of purple card stock from my stash. All these adhered to an A2 (4.25" x 5.5") white card base.
Check out my video that demonstrates how I created these cards:
Card # 2 - Pucker Up Bunny. I stamped the bunny with Pucker Up pink ink from Catherine Pooler. I used Pucker Up Ink again to ink the background once. Then I rotated the paper and stamped the background again using Cummerbund light blue ink from Catherine Pooler. I used a die from my stash to create the blue-green grass. I then layered my background onto a piece of purple card stock from my stash. All these adhered to an A2 (4.25" x 5.5") white card base.
Card # 3 - Catching Rays Bunny with Pucker Up and Catching Rays inks. I stamped the bunny with Catching Rays orange ink from Catherine Pooler.
