Quick birthday cards

Greetings, crafty friends! It's Pam here and my day to post.

For my first card, I used the Sparkling Celebration for the background stamped in black. The sentiment is from the fabulous Inside Out: Young at Heart, Set of 10. On the inside it says, "(slightly older in other places)." Simple, quick and monochromatic.

My second card features the Ribbon Celebration

and the sentiment is from Sister Birthday, Set of 2. Another quick, monochromatic card. I just love these stamps as they pack a punch and they're quick to create!

Birthday Wishes

 

Slim Line cards are all the rage right now.    I used Slimline Candles  for the focal image, and part of Kisses and Wishes.  I colored the candles with my Copic markers. I used a white gel pen  for the white squiggles.

Kisses and Wishes Birthday Shaker Card

 

Good morning! It's Holly posting today and I'm sharing a fun birthday card that I made with new stamps from Technique Junkies.  I started by stamping the new Sparkling Celebration background with some blue ink onto some matching blue cardstock.  Then I stamped the new Kisses and Wishes with the same blue ink onto white cardstock and loosely cut it out with scissors.  The sentiment was glued to the blue background and then I placed this panel inside a clear envelope.  Before I sealed it up, I poured in some blue/green, gold, and clear sequins.  Then I glued this filled clear envelope to a white card base.  It's such a fun and easy way to make a shaker card!

Big Candles

 When you think of how old you are and look, are you just a tiny bit surprised at how old your contemporaries look? I think most of us are! My mind's eye shaves off 10 years or so...

I used the Older than We Are stamp from Technique Junkies with the Big Candles stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. The candles were shimmered with the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Marker to add that extra shine.

Smooshed Birthday Wishes

 My smooshed ink background is a nice backdrop for the Kisses and Wishes stamp. The background is Sparkling Celebration. Such an easy birthday card to make -- we all need more easy in our life, right?
