Monochromatic Magnolia

 Our lovely Magnolia Branch Border is a large stamp, but it extra special when used with monochromatic ink. Here is was randomly stamped and paired with the Get Well Soon stamp for an extra-pretty result.

One Great Dude but is he still Wrong?

Good day! Pam here with your Saturday dose of Technique Junkies goodness!

My first creation was done using Stud Muffins (set of 5). I stamped the image on parchment card stock in black and then paper pieced his outfit. I added some T.H. washi tape and the sentiment is on dimensionals. The mat is done in blue to match his pants and the base is white.

For my second card, I used a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop called Tree Paradise and the sentiment is new this month called No Woman to Hear. To hold the stencil down, I used Pixie spray which you can purchase from TJ. It is THE BEST STUFF. Using a variety of inks, I sponged the color on and then did the same for the sentiment.

I would have to say that the man IS still wrong!!!! Haha!!!

I created this mixed media card with Father's Day in mind.

I started with some watercolor paper and stamped with a dark brown ink.  I then used inks to watercolor the image.  I ran it through an embossing folder then I cut it out with a stitched die from my stash and then grunged it up with some Distress Ink.

I made the mat layer with another embossed panel that was colored with the Distress ink and then coated with Distress Glaze to get a leather look.

I stamped the inside of the card base with the sentiment then let it dry.

I glued them together then added some twine and popped them up on a light blue card base.  I added the home made lure and we were done!

Father and Daughter | Because I'm your Dad

 To create my card, I used Versafine Clair Acorn ink to stamp the Because I'm Your Dad background stamp on a piece of off white/ivory paper. I used a stitched rectangle die to trim the stamped background panel to an A2 size (4.25" x 5.5"). Next I used Copic markers to color the Father and Daughter stamp and I fussy cut the image. I used a yellow Copic Marker to color a die cut piece of vellum. I used liquid glue to adhere the vellum to the background panel. Then I glued the Father and Daughter to the Vellum.  I plan to give this card to my dad for Father's Day.

  Hello Junkies!

I love to make cards that make people laugh.  I'm always on the lookout for silly stamps.  Technique Junkies has a bunch of them.  This one was part of the May release.
