O' Christmas Tree

 Hello!  

How are all of your Christmas preparations going? I just wrapped up my last craft show for the year.  I need to start focusing on wrapping presents and making some Christmas treats.   I'm still trying to sneak in a few more Christmas cards in before the season escapes us.  

I used these stamps by Technique Junkies to create this silly card.  This cat stamp has been a long time favorite. It paired perfectly with the new Christmas tree stamp.  Just to spice up the layout a little I used the vertical Merry Christmas.  I like that you can see it when the card is closed and open.  What do you think?

Inventory reduction sale creation

Happy Wednesday! Today I decided to showcase a fabulous set that is included in the inventory reduction sale called Wine with Friends, set of 10. Touch of Colour

My turn on the blog today with my makes

Keeping my theme on the simple side - did 

black and white with a touch of colour.

First up this Country Church

Used a bit of blue ink on the sky background.

Next is the Summer Barn

Reminds me of my visits to my daughters

And lastly are the Buddies

Trust Yourself with Copper Dragonflies

 

Good morning!  It's Holly posting today.  I've been looking through all the great stamps on sale at Technique Junkies, and I pulled out a couple of them to play with and created this card for you.  I love this Leaves and Dragonflies background stamp, so I embossed it with copper and then watercolored over it with some deep blue and some golden yellow paints.  While the paints were still wet, I sprayed some Worn Saddle Shimmering Bliss over the whole thing.  The Shimmering Bliss spray warmed up the colors in the background and there is a gorgeous subtle shimmery-ness all around the copper leaves and dragonflies.  The sentiment is from the great Things I Want to Do set.
