My idea of a party...

 Oh yeah, baby! Stamping is a party for me! There is no other indoor activity - either by myself or with crafty friends - than stamping and crafting with my paper crafting toys. Today's card celebrates staying home and crafting. Catherine Pooler ink was applied to the cardstock, and the Creative Background was stamped in Midnight CP Ink. Life Begins After Coffee on a Painted Background

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday.  

Design Team Member Michael here and I must agree with the Life Begins After Coffee stamp.  I don't know about you but I cannot function or begin my day until my lips have tasted that first sip of coffee.  Also, being a coffee junkie, I knew this stamp would pair perfectly with the Painted Background stamp.  

• I made a top-folding A2 card using Kraft cardstock and distressed the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
• Then I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using a 4" 5.25" stitched rectangle die and adhered this to the inside of the card for a message.  
• I went thru my paper stash and found a sheet with a watercolored design on it, stamped Painted Background stamp on top using Memento Tuxedo Black, die-cut it using the 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, distressed the edges with the Vintage Photo Distress Ink, and adhered this to the card front.  
• I stamped Life Begins After Coffee on white cardstock, die-cut it using a deckled edge die in my stash, and adhered it to the card front using foam tape. 
• Lastly, I glued 3 real coffee beans to the image.  I think it makes the card even more fun.

Slightly Irreverent, Delightfully Snarky!

Sometimes you just have to be a little irreverent - at least when you mean it in good fun, Our Holy Water card is just that -- perfect for sending to a friend or an irreverent partner-in-crime. Happy Wednesday! Here in Colorado, we feel a bit cheated out of summer this year. We had record rain fall and just plain weird weather. We hope to be able to fit one more camping trip in. I absolutely love this new image called Explore and the ease with which you can create with it. 

I die cut the tree and using a blending brush, I applied navy ink. I stamped the image and die cut with a stitched die. One very large rhinestone, two different colors of blue card stock for matting, layered onto white card base and I call it complete!

 Our Inside Out: Twisted Encouragements (set of 10) is delightfully snarky! Today I used one of the sentiment pairings with the Grumpy Grady stamp.
