TJ Inkspiration: 63 Autumn Stamps in One Set

 

63 Stamps? One Set? HOW???

I just had to have these sweet stamps in the Technique Junkies store! This set has 63 RUBBER stamps that are on foam index-mounts. It's a lttle strange for TJ to offer stamps from other companies...but I fell in love with these, and I love the Aladine brand. And the whole set is only $9.99. I made a 5 minute video showing you the stamps in detail and how they look, feel and stamp. Watch it and decide for yourself - these are the cutest things for creating sweet and simple cards for Autumn. No kit this week, but I "collected" all the items I used in the video to create these cards and put them in one category, in case you are interested. You may find all of the supplies HERE. Hanging With My Gnomies

Zen Christmas

Good Wednesday! I hope that everyone is settling into October and enjoying the fall weather! Today I am sharing the new Zen Trees Background. I paired it with a portion of the previously released sentiment Vertical Merry Christmas.

The trees were stamped on watercolor paper and watercolored with a variety of colors. Once dry, I used an embossing folder for some fun texture and then rubbed Inca Gold in gold over the embossed areas. The sentiment is on dimensionals.

Using the new Holly and Berries Background - embossed in gold on white cardstock.

Inked with distress inks - then used my pens to colour in the holly and berries

Layered onto gold paper.

The saying is from an older set Scripted Holidays also embossed and edged in gold

 ext up I used the Three Wise Men stencil which went well 

with the new Christmas Blessings stamp

Also the stars I used from an older set 

Hanging stars 

And Lastly is the Zen Trees Background stamped and embossed in white on navy paper - fussy cut out - layered onto sparkly silver

Rudolph and Friends

Seasons Greetings Poinsettia

Have you browsed the stamps featured in the October release? I must share a few of my favorite stamps sets:

Today I used the Sketched Poinsetta Wreath to show you a quick and simple way to jump start your holiday card making. You can recreate this card with ease.  

• I used wood grain patterned paper as my base. 
• I stamped the Sketched Poinsetta Wreath in black. I colored the image directly on the patterned paper using Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Markers. 
• I stamped the Seasons Greetings sentiment using Candy Apple CTMH ink. 
• I framed the mat with black card stock and adhered it to the card base.
