Hello y'all and Happy Saturday. We are all in holiday card mode - Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and, for some of us - Hanukkah. Being Jewish, I love to make Hanukkah cards and not many make them. When I saw Cozy Polar Bears I knew that they would work for Hanukkah if I used the right colors and the right sentiment.
So, if you want to make this card, this is what I did -
- I made a top-folding A2 card base using blue cardstock.
- I stamped Cozy Polar Bears on white cardstock, die-cut it using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, and colored in the hats and scarves on the bears using more traditional Hanukkah colors - lots of tones of blue, yellow, orange - anything but a lot of red and green.
- I adhered a piece of white fun foam to the back and then to the front of my card.
- I stamped Happy Hanukkah from Happy Hanukkah, Set of 2 on a piece of white cardstock using blue ink. Then I die-cut it using the 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, which I then adhered to the inside of the card leaving space for a message.
- Lastly, I used some blue stickles on the pompom on each hat and set it aside to dry.
Easy peasy!
