A Lovely Christmas Frame

Happy Wednesday to everyone! I am showcasing two October stamps; Christmas Frame (#S916) and the sentiments are from the new set called Light of Faith (#SS142). They were all pretty quick to make with the area for the sentiment to be placed!

My first card was stamped on confetti white card stock (a blast from the SU! past). Next, I colored it with Zig watercolor brush markers and then fussy cut it out. I finely stippled some red in sentiment area. The card base is white and I embossed Kraft card stock for some interest.

The image was stamped in black on confetti white cardstock and colored with Zigs again and placed on a Kraft card stock base. I like that you can stamp this frame any way...there isn't really a top or bottom.

My last card here was stamped on white card stock and colored with Zigs.....I added some shimmer to the ornaments which is tough to see. I did stippling on the sentiment area again. The Bermuda bay base was embossed with a snowflake folder and the image is on dimensionals.

Retro Reindeer

Hello Friends!

I'm here today to share three pretty cards, using beautiful stamps from Technique Junkies.

I was totally smitten with #SD1119 Retro Reindeer the moment I saw it. I just knew that I wanted clean and simple cards, letting the image showcase itself! I make approximately 180 Christmas cards each year, and this may be what I make this year! Let me show you what I created!

For my first card, I though embossing and embellishing with silver on black seemed perfect, so that's what happened. The sentiment is from a wonderful new set #SS142 Light of Faith. I used a 5 x 7 card base, and cut a black focal panel and silver mat, a bit smaller than the card base. The deer and sentiment were heat embossed in silver, and a strip of silver Washi Tape (that resembles grosgrain ribbon) was added diagonally for some grounding of each stamp. The layers were assembled, and a beautiful card was finished!

This view just shows the shine a bit better...

I had printed some of this very light background paper for a workshop that a friend and I are teaching later this month, and fell in love with it. (It's actually digital dollhouse wallpaper!).

Short and sweet, the card base is light gray, and the image and sentiment (also from the #SS142 Light of Faith set) were stamped with black Versafine ink for a crisp image. This one will probably be our Christmas cards this year - I love the utter simplicity of it, and the sentiment really speaks to me. This will be the first Christmas that any of our family has been HERE for Christmas for many years!

I'm not only a Technique Junkie, but a Christmas Junkie, so this release has been SO much fun to work with!!! But...WAIT until you see next month's amazing stamps!
