Try that Technique: Graffiti and 2004 half price!

Holy Smoly! It is hard to believe that I did this technique 6 years ago! Creating a card using the technique again felt as fresh as the first time, too. This week we are featuring the Graffiti Technique from the December 2004 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter. You really need to Try this Technique! It is easy, and makes a great custom background. It is fabulous for making custom scrapbook paper, too.

My card is for my neighbor who just found out she is pregnant again (or rather, I just found out). Most of the background stamps are from Stampin' Up!, with the Ice Cream and Pickles image stamp from Lockhart Stamp Company. I used a little bit of Liquid Applique on the ice cream, and some Diamond Glaze on the pickle jar. They were just screaming for it!

Now it is your turn to Try that Technique! Don't have these issues? From now through Wednesday, April 28th, the six 2004 issues will be on sale for half-price. That is $9.00 (plus shipping - $1.56 to US addresses, $1.81 to Canada, $2.76 to Europe, and $4.30 to Australia). It's a bargain! When you do try it,  use the Mr. Linky on Beth's post, or post to the TJ egroup -- we would love to see what you do with this.

Try That Technique: Graffitti

Hi, it's Beth here with another technique that Diana Enns and I put to a challenge. It is Graffitti from the December 2004 issue.

This is a fabulous technique if you're looking for something unique and quick. Gotta love that!
