You Go, Girl!

Hi, it's Beth Norman here with a puuurfect new stamp from February's release called Hang in There, which was coloured with Prismacolor pencil crayons and OMS.

My background was stamped out using Random Circles background stamp, and the technique I used is called Distressed Rainbow Strips from the August 2013 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter.   The sentiment I used came from the Simple Sentiments 2a set.  These two stamps are not part of the February release.

Don't forget, February released stamps are on sale until February 8th.

Distressed Rainbow Strips

Morning junkies, Tricia here with this week's Try That Technique from this month's newsletter called Distressed Rainbow Strips.

This is such a fun and easy technique.  I used the same distress inks that I used for my background to color my image (Gina K Designs).  The background stamp is from Impression Obsession and the sentiment is from Mark's Finest Paper.

I made this card for my aunt who loves crafts of all kinds.  I knew it would be perfect for her.

I hope you have time to play along with us this week.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.  The possibilities are endless.

Have a crafty day!

Tricia

Distressed Rainbow Strips

Good morning friends.  This is Beth Norman with Distressed Rainbow Strips.  As you can see I created a bright and colourful version.  I had a lot of fun using this technique and made several backgrounds at one time.

My knome, from Impression Obsession, one of our sponsors, was watercoloured with Tombow markers.  Isn't this little fella cute as a button?  The background is also from Impression Obsession.

Thank you for stopping by!

Hello TJ Friends! Kathie McGuire here on your Memorial Day weekend. I hope everyone's had a wonderful and creative weekend. Today's project features the Distressed Rainbow Strips technique from the current TJ newsletter. This was a fun one, because I was able to custom create a background to perfectly match my image. Really fast and fun! The squirrel image and the wood grain background stamps are from Stampin' Up! and the squirrel paw prints are from Hero Arts. Thanks for stopping by today! Kathie

Distressed Rainbow Strips

Hello, Beth Norman here with Distressed Rainbow Strips from our newest issue.  I love this technique so much because it looks like a rainbow of colour.

My image is from our sponsor, Impression Obsession.  I watercoloured the image with my Tombow markers on watercolour paper.

You will find this card in the newsletter; I haven't had time to play in my studio because I was busy with my daughter's wedding.  Now that's behind me I can get back into my room and create.

Thank you for stopping by.  Enjoy your day!
