Have A Happy Spidery Halloween!

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday.

Design Team Member Michael here to show you a super simple and fun Halloween card that you can make using the new Spidery Halloween sentiment from the September 2023 New Stamp Release.

I love using simple sentiments like this because all you really need to finish off a card is patterned paper to match.  And I know we all have a stack of patterned paper pads in our stash.
  • I started by making a top-folding A2 card using white cardstock.
  • Then I adhered a piece of purple cardstock to the card front.
Now for the paper...since there is a spider web and spider as part of the sentiment, I wanted a paper to match.  I looked through my stash and found the perfect sheet on the I Love Halloween 6x6 paper pad from Echo Park Papers.
  • I used a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die to cut the paper, which I adhered to the purple cardstock.
  • I stamped Spidery Halloween on white cardstock, layered it on a piece of purple cardstock, and adhered it to my card front using foam tape.
To finish the card and make it extra special...
  • I adhered tiny googly eyes to the larger spiders and then I stamped the spider web in the Halloween Scene Set of 12 on 2 of the corners inside the card.  I think stamping on the inside just adds to a card.

The 2 stamps I used to make this card, Spidery Sentiment, and Halloween Scene Set of 12 - as well as all the other new release stamps, are all on sale for 15% through Friday, September 8th (no code needed).  And, if you see anything else on the Technique Junkies website, you can save 10% by using my code at checkout - TJ10Michael.

I hope you have enjoyed this card idea.  I'd love to know...leave a comment below!  I'll be back in 2 weeks with another cool idea but if you want to see more of my work, check it all out on my
Blog or my Instagram page.  Hope to see you there.
