Gothic Thanks!

Distressed Color Block Bunny by Judy Jackson

I love this bunny from Stampin' Up! He is so cute peaking out over the edge of the basket. I used Copic markers to color this image stamped over two similar in "intensity" colors of Distress Inks. The background used the Glimmered Textures technique - from the new Emboss or Die CD. Have you ordered yours yet? It is wonderful! I spritzed the silk flower with gold glimmer spray. A strip of lace tied around the layers and under the focal image adds a bit of vintage look to the card. I tied a bit of green ribbon around the knot of lace, and then tied a bit of gold cording to coordinate with the gold glimmer spritzed flower. I am so looking forward to spring. I am tired of snow and cold.

Distressed Color Block Kids by Judy Jackson

Two shades of blue Distress Ink were used to create this focal image. The girls stamp is from Smartworks. I distress a scrap of background paper to place under the focal image. Metallic bronze text weight paper (available from Paper Temptress) provides a border around the focal image and the flourish. I also used the Neutral Shadows technique on the swirl peaking out from the focal image. A tiny bit of lace and some "bling" finish off the card.

Springtime Girl....

Jane Bosi, here, sharing a hopeful card! I cannot wait for the thaw and the glorious spring time weather that will come with it!!
