I'm going to show you how to turn an Artist Trading Coin into a card. 

I created a background by spraying a piece of white cardstock with Shimmering Bliss in Mixed Metals (Topper). When it was dry I stamped with Bubbles over the top in blue ink. I mounted the panel onto kraft cardstock and added a bit of white acrylic paint where my Artist Trading Coin will go.

 To make my Artist Trading Coin I used a scrap of cardstock that was my scratch paper for another project. Save that scratch paper! I believe I used Shimmering Bliss in Harvest Sunset, Mermaid and Thulian Pink along with a stencil from A Colorful Life (Snowflake Flower).I stamped Never Stop Making Wishes and added dimension to the flowers with Nuvo drops. I then cut it out (it's 2 1/2") with a circle die.

This month's challenge is ATCs that Shimmer!

Never made an Artist Trading Card (ATC) before? It's easy!

Cut your cardstock (or whatever paper you plan to use) to 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" and get decorating! Think small!

ATC's are great to have around to add to a card base for a quick card.

Here is a template that shows how to cut 10 ATCs from one sheet of cardstock.

If you had so much fun with out last challenge and want to make Artist Trading Coins you can 

enter the challenge with those too! For those not familiar to Artist Trading Coins they are the same 

concept as regular ATCs but as a 2 1/2" circle shape.

My first ATC uses Never Stop Making Wishes along with Shimmering Bliss in Mixed Metals (Topper) and Mardi Gras Purple. I added dimension to the flowers with Nuvo drops.

My next ATC uses Enjoy The Ride (set of 6) along with Shimmering Bliss in Harvest Sunset and Mermaid.

My last ATC uses Throw Kindness along with Shimmering Bliss in Thulian Pink, Just Squeezed and Dazzle (Topper). I used a number of colors of Nuvo Drops for my "confetti".

Our challenge is Artist Trading Coins!

No theme (just make sure you use Technique Junkies Stamps!)

If you haven't made an Artist Trading Coin before I think you are really going to like this challenge. They are such fun little pieces of art to make and trade with your friends.

All you need is a 2 1/2" punch or die to create a little masterpiece. Add your favorite stamps, inks, paints and anything else you want to your circle.

This one uses Bee Quotes on a background made with markers and a glitter pen.

This one uses Itoh Peonies and part of She is Fierce.

This one uses Sunflower Duo and part of Be Silly Horizontal.

And I had to do a chicken one :)

I used Keep Chickens (set of 13) and Double Weird Sayings on a 

quickly colored marker background.
