Try That Technique Challenge -- Go Retro by Judy Jackson

Pat Huntoon has challenged the Design Team to use techniques from past issues of the Technique Junkie newsletters. This technique comes from the June 2003 newsletter. I wasn't even a member of the Technique Junkie Newsletter back then. However, I discovered the Technique Junkie newsletter in August of 2003 -- and I have never been sorry! What a wonderful resource this newsletter is for stampers and scrapbookers!
So it was really fun to look back and see how this technique challenged me. I was really pleased to with the ease of the technique and I love how the technique forced me to use stamps that haven't seen the light of day for some time. I am sure I will use this technique again.
If you are an Ultimate Junkie then you can look back to the June 2003 newsletter and see how to use this fun technique too! If you are not an Ultimate Junkie email Pat Huntoon and ask her how you can become one! Stamp credits are Stampin' Up! and for all the circle stamps and Morning Star stamps for the verse.
Have a great stamping day!

Hetty's Art Doll

Hello stampers!
I am in a funny mood today as you can see. I have made you an Art Doll with a faux velvet background and antiqued glimmers wings. Have you ever made an art doll?? this is so much fun to do: you look at all your stamps and think: how can I make a doll out of this! Use your imagination!! I would love to see you try this too. It is not something new, so if you google the word art doll, you will find lots of samples for your inspiration. All the stamps I have used for this one are by Michael Strong ( The frame, the leaves, the mini heart and the mini triangle) and yes the head is  a picture of me. Hope a gave you a chuckle today! Happy stamping,
                                                          Hetty from The Netherlands
