The background was created with an embossing folder that I found to have an interesting texture to it. I used a dense round sponge to apply dye based ink to the raised areas.
The flowers are from the stamp A Best Friend. I cut the verse off so I had two stamps instead of one. The flowers were colored with my Copic markers. The verse at the bottom is from the stamp set Dear Friend. The font is beautiful and the set has several terrific greetings. I fussing cut around th words, and fussy trimmed the black layering card stock.
