Dimension Christmas Cards

I don't know about you, but I really love dimensional cards. Most of the cards I make have multiple layers and multiple heights. The one I have for you today is no exception. Three layers of dimension give this card a very classy appeal.

It's never too early to get started on Christmas Cards. I grabbed two of stamps sets released this month: Victorian Greetings (JT030) and Poinsettia (SS099).

To create the card, I started with a white A2 card base. On a piece of white CS, I randomly stamped the smaller Poinsettia image. I trimmed the panel down a little and used a Nuvo Glitter Marker to outline the edges. Using an oval die, I cut out the center of the panel. I cut a smaller oval from a piece of red CS. Centering that on the card base, I stamped the sentiment in the center.

I added dimensional tape to the back of the red CS and attached that to the card base. I added another layer of dimensional tape to the white panel and added that on top of the red panel.

On a separate piece of white CS, I stamped and colored in the small Poinsettia, then cut it out. I added one more layer of dimensional tape and attached that to the corner of the card. I added some Nuvo Drops to the center of the flower for even more dimension.

This card checks all the dimensional boxes for me. While not difficult to do, it looks like I spent a lot of time on it. That makes me happy!

Hope you feel inspired to give some dimensional cards a try. They are kind of addicting. If you'd like to grab these stamps (or any others), I can save you 10% on your order simply by adding the code below at checkout.

Happy card-making!

Til next time,
Keepin' it inky.
