All Shapes

Hey everyone! Jessie here with you today, sharing some super clean and simple card inspiration. 

I love making simple one layer cards, and the All Shapes stamp is perfect for that! One stamp with your images and sentiment!

I coloured the dogs up with neutral greys and the E40 series of markers. Adding some loose lines around the edges of the card to add a little more interest and this adorable card is done!

Zinnias With Monarch

Hey everyone! Jessie here again today to share some awesome inspiration with you!

The May new release launched yesterday, so today I have a pretty project using one of those stamps to share with you. 

I used the Zinnias with Monarch to create this fun little card. You know how we buy these super cool products, use them a few times then forget about them. Well that is what happened here. Years ago I purchased the Mega flakes, its like scraps of gold leaf and different colours of leaf. I used it a few times then forgot I had them. Well, I was cleaning the studio and found them, and was like hmmm this would make a really cool Technique Junkies card! And here we are. 

So I started off by "stamping" the image with glue then adding the flake, you can't see the beauty of the flakes on the straight on shot, so you get this neat angled one too! after that I just added some simple light washes of watercolour. To finish it off I used the Wildly Capable sentiment (masking off the flowers on the side).

Itoh Peony

Hey everyone! Jessie here today sharing some embossing and Brusho card making. 

I started by embossing the Itoh Peony stamp onto some Bee Watercolor Paper. 

I then wet down the paper, and sprinkled the Sunburst Yellow near the flower centers, Allowing that to dry partially I then wet the paper again and sprinkled on the Alizarin Crimson, then spraying it a little more to help it move around the page. After that, we play the waiting game, and let the watercolours dry.

Once that was dry, I cut down the front panel to fit on the front of the card. Pulling out a Hello die from my stash I cut it out of the coloured pannel and 4 times out of white cardstock to build it up.

Dahlias

Hey everyone, Jessie here with you all today! For my first ever Technique Junkies post! I am super thrilled to be on this team, and getting to play with so many wonderful stamps!

I am kicking things off with Dahlias (S811). You will learn I have a love of all floral stamps ever!! So in my true fashion I stamped them out and took my watercolours to them.

I tried multiple... and I mean tons of sentiments to put on the front of this little gem, but honestly she felt like one of those cards where all it needs is a message written inside!

I can not wait to show you what I have in store for my next post!
