Twine -- sort of a thin rope. It makes me think of western images -- lassos, cattle, cowboys, and so on. It also makes me think of packages being mailed. When I was a little girl, the post office required that all packages be tied securely with string or twine. My mother saved twine and string from everywhere! The PO sure does not require that today!
Did you know that Gingersnap Creations has a weekly challenge to get your creative juices going? The Technique Junkies design team is participating this month in these challenges. Here is the blog website: http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com.
I was late getting this done this past week. I have had a lot I needed to do in my craft room before I could create anything! My craft table had a pile of stuff I needed to sort and put away before I could craft anything! Has that ever happened to you? So my card with twine will not be posted on the Gingersnap Creations website -- I am showing it to you here! I used the Foam Stamping technique from the current newsletter and the stamps are from Paper Bag Studios and Stampin' Up! I also wanted to use an image that wasn't western themed. So I looked through some of my stash and came up with this idea. The foam stamping technique is on the panel behind the focal image. Then I distressed it all. I think it all works together, do you?
Then Blogger had its troubles the past few days and I was unable to upload this card on the weekend as I had planned.
Have a good day -- and CRAFT something!
