Now that Christmas is over, it is time to think about Valentine's Day. I have two cards to share with you today. The first one is for my daughter and the second one is for my son. I love creating two cards with one stamp, don't you?
Before I show you my cards, I would like to draw your attention to the fact you can get 10% off everything in your cart simply by using TJ10Beth. Now that's a steal, eh?
Instructions for making Valentine Wishes card
- Using watercolour paper or 110lb cardstock, streak Distress Oxides in colours picked raspberry, broken china, evergreen bough and fossilized amber randomly onto a non-stick craft mat.
- Spritz with water, enough so all of the ink is spritzed.
- Lay your cardstock flat into the ink and use your heat tool to set it.
- Lightly tap your dry cardstock onto the beaded ink and heat set again.
- Wipe clean and repeat process until you are happy with your background.
- Once your background is thoroughly dry, stamp out Valentine Wishes.
- Use a variety of stencils and place them around Valentine Wishes.
- Rub areas with your embossing buddy and take a stencil and press VersaMark over a portion of the stencil and use gold embossing. Heat set the gold embossing powder.
- Use whatever pleases you. On the bottom I used a die and matted onto a piece of black cardstock.
