Move It - Shape It Blog Hop

Welcome to each and every person who will join the members of the Technique Junkie Design Team  on this blog hop.  We all hope you will be excited as we are about these two new CDs!

Some folks think that a stamped card is just a card, right?  There are those folks who think a "hand stamped card" isn't exciting or worth our time to make.  But we KNOW BETTER don't we?  Well, these two CDs should change those folks minds.  :)

Personally, I am so excited about these CDs and I think these will be some "go to" CDs for me. So many wonderful ideas for different cards to make for family and friends!

The CDs are $9.95 for each or $17.95 if ordered together. You can click on this link and it will take you to the Move It Shape It ordering and information page:

There is an index for each CD, with pictures of each project,  available on these pages.

I have made four cards for you.  Two cards are from the Move It CD and two cards are from the Shape It CD.
My first card is from the Shape it CD --  and is called the Piano Card.  Stamp credits are from Hero Arts and Uptown Rubber Stamps.  My son-in-law is the music and youth pastor at his church.  I just thought this was appropriate for him!

My next card is from the Move It CD and is called the Floating Pop-Up Card.  I think Pop-up cards are so fun but seldom do I make them.  The directions for this card are both easy and fun!  I think it is a WOW card.  I used both dies and punches for the birds and the bird cage. Stamps are from Impression Obsession.
So this lovely bird is singing inside the cage -- but he is singing to his friends who are outside the cage ---- so fun!

My third card for you is from the Shape It CD and is the Bathing Trunks card.  I can see all kinds of uses for this card shape.  And it is just a fun one to make -- not to difficult and just plain fun. I can think of all kinds of background paper to use for the trunks -- can't you?

My last card for you is the Upright Diamond Fold Card. I love this card and the way it turned out!

I just love this little bunny from Stacy Stamps - he is so cute!  Such an adorable face and big shiny black eye!   But then you untie the ribbon and you see all of the pop-up - so nice!

The stamp credits belong to Stacy Stamps, Stampin' Up, and Art Neko.  Art Neko makes the verse on the inside.  I embossed it in black to make it stand out from the bamboo. The verse goes like this -- "Drip...Drip...Drip...The garden's bamboo fountain Whispers its secrets.  Listen."  Can't you just see the little bunny being very quiet as he listens for the secret of the bamboo fountain?

I sure do think you will enjoy this blog hop today!  By the time you hop along with us today - Pat will be able to begin mailing out the orders for the CDs. Make sure you get yours ordered today!

Now enjoy the rest of the Move It - Shape It Blog Hop!

Hop along now to Ann Clack -- a gifted stamp artist is she!  Enjoy the day at the hop.

Try That Technique - AI Splatters

Don't you just love the new TJ Newsletter?  I love it and can't wait to create lots of new cards with it.

This sweet little image from I Brake For Stamps is colored with copics.

The background is done with the TJ Newsletter technique AI Splatters.  This is this weeks Try That Technique.

I also used another technique around her (the black hearts) called Faux Punched Borders.  I cut her out with spellbinders (making sure to use my handy out of the nestie box technique --so not to cut off her sweet little rabbit ear).

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a crafty day!
