Born To Sparkle with Glittered Fun Foam

Hello everyone!  So...does anyone use glittered fun foam on their cards or papercraft projects?  I know it's available in the USA but I never see anyone using it.  Maybe today's post will change all that.  And, if you don't have any, just substitute glittered cardstock.  But the fun foam is so much more fun.

Fun foam and glittered fun foam are huge in Brasil.   I buy them by the sheet and love to use them on my cards.  When I saw this "Born To Sparkle" stamp, the first thing I thought of was glittered fun foam since it sparkles so much.  I decided to use black and white glittered fun foam since it's just so chic.

  • I made two card bases - one using white cardstock (horizontal) and the other using black (vertical).
  • I cut two pieces of glittered fun foam - one black and one white - and added double-sided tape to the back.  Don't remove the backing yet and, the wider the tape, the easier it is to make these cards.
  • I die-cut each of the glittered fun foam pieces using the Oval Burst Background Die from Gina Marie Designs.
  • Then I adhered the pieces to each card.  On the white card base, I carefully removed the tape backing on the positive portion of the white background and adhered it to the card front.  I used the black positive background on the black card base.
  • Then I carefully removed the tape backing on each of the inside pieces and adhered them to each card.
  • I stamped Born to Sparkle on white cardstock, adhered each to a piece of black glittered fun foam, and then to the center of each card.
Done!
