Wildflower Border

 Hi there!

It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I'd like to share two cards that I created, with some April release stamps.

The 'SD1098 Wildflower Border' stamp, and the A Colorful Life Designs 'Damask' stencil were featured on both of these cards. Hopefully, you will enjoy seeing how different each one looks, just by changing up colors and techniques a bit.

For the first card, the image was stamped and colored in Copic markers. I made a mask of the image, masked it, and did the stenciling in yellow and green Distress Oxide Inks, using an ink blending brush. The sentiment from 'SS134 In the Garden' was then stamped with black ink.

The next card was super simple.  I masked and ink blended a portion in the center of my focal panel, prior to stenciling again with the 'Damask' stencil in pink and orchid Distress Oxide Inks. The image, 'SD1098 Wildflower Border' and sentiment 'SS134 In the Garden' were then stamped with black ink.
