Tagged Backgrounds--Stampbooking CD

{Jane Bosi} It's a great day for another run at the Try That Technique challenge! This week, we are pulling from the fabulous Stampbooking CD. Our technique is called Tagged Backgrounds! I made this 6 x 6 page of way back when the Hubster and I celebrated 10 years of marital bliss! LOL! I love the way the background plays off the colors in the photo and the theme of the event! Won't you give it a try and share a memory with us? If you aren't into the picture thingy, this is a great technique for cards too! Give it whirl!! My stamped images come from a variety of sources: I Brake For Stamps, Impression Obsession, Stampin' Up!

Let's see what you've got.......

Groovy....

Jane Bosi, here, sharing a page I created of my daughter, Chloe. I'm not sure why, but kids look so darn cute in sunglasses! I used the Acetate Punch technique from the Stampbooking CD to emmulate her shirt--one of my favorites! Stamps are from Fontwerks. You can learn more about the Stampbooking CD here. Have an inky day! Hetty's Fashion Frame

Hello Stampers!

Today I have a fashion card for you with all kinds of Tim Holtz items
and a sentiment by Create with TLC.
The background of this card is done with a wonderful new sewing
embossing die and used the Antique Wallpaper technique
of the Jun/Jul 2010. The  frame on the card is one of the
tutorials on the Stampbooking CD and is called Corrugated Frame.

The body is cut out of currugated cardboard with
a Tim Holtz sizzix die and painted with distress stain
and embossed with utee. Also stamped with white ink.
Hope I have given you some new ideas to try out
on your own cards.

Have a creative day!

Stampbooking Hop

Jane Bosi, here, with a reminder to hop along with the Stampbooking CD blog hop! The hop started yesterday here (see Judy's post below!). You have until the end of the week to hop through and leave a comment on the last blog (mine). You'll be eligible for the prize drawing when you leave me a comment. There will also be a special prize given to one of those who also invites others to hop along! You will read all about it when you make it to the end of the hop!

My page features the Punched Out Borders technique from the Stampbooking CD. It's just one of the 75 fun and inspiring techniques found on this great tool! I thought it was the perfect way to highlight these pictures of my little man!

There are many stops along the hop--Designer's may have posted other art by the time you start your hop, but you'll just need to scroll down to find their Stampbooking Hop post! It will be well worth your time!

Stampbooking: Tag Titles

{Jane Bosi} I love these pictures of my kiddos and their crazy hair!! I must admit, I've been a slacker scrapbooker for the last several years---these pictures are at least a year old (I have many stacks of photos waiting even older than that!) I've always struggled with joining my two passions: stamping and scrapbooking. Until, that is, recently!!! The TJNL Stampbooking CD has truly changed all that for me. Friends, this is a fabulous tool for ANY scrapbooker--brand new or seasoned!!! It's a great way to get even more mileage out of your stamps WHILE saving those precious memories for years to come--my kids love seeing "their pages"--it means so much to them! This is one of 75 techniques on the Stampbooking CD called Tag Titles. It's the perfect way to add a whimsical title to just about any page! In addition to the multitude of techniques on the CD, you'll also find over 150 scrapped/stamped pages for inspiration. Your memories are worth the best!! Check it out!
