BeYOUtiful
Hello friends! Giovana here today with a very feminine card to all of you beYOUtiful ladies!!
I got this Itoh Peonies stamp some time ago and I was very happy to finally ink it up!
Here are the details:
Position a piece of white cardstock on your MISTI, then stamp the Itoh Peonies in Black Ink, then clean your stamp and ink it again with Versamark Watermark Ink, add clear embossing powder and heat set.
Color the image with alcohol markers, here I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator (PP1, PP5, FS1, FS3), then add more color using Prismacolor Pencils, starting with Light Peach,Carmine Red, Crimson Lake, Canary Yellow and Colorless Blender.
Trim the image to 3.25" x 4.75".
Mist a piece of watercolor paper with Dragons Blood Shimmering Bliss, set aside to dry, then die-cut a border from this watercolor piece, adhere it to the colored panel and adhere piece to a white piece of white cardstock.
Add this panel to a A2 Pink Card base with foam adhesive.
Stamp the sentiment from Typewriter Set on a piece of vellum, in Versamark Watermark, add Gold Embossing powder and heat set. Die-cut it using circle dies and adhere it to card.
Add Brown Gala Glitz to center of the flower.

Shimmering ATCs
I had to join the fun with the current Stamp Junkies ATCs that Shimmer Challenge.
Remember, you can use my Discount Code TJ10Stephanie for 10% off anything in the store (the store is also carrying the wonderful Versafine Clair Inks that I used for my projects).
I started by spraying two pieces of white cardstock ... using two colors of Shimmering Bliss Spray on each one.

I started by spraying two pieces of white cardstock ... using two colors of Shimmering Bliss Spray on each one.
The first one combined Festive Flamingo & Just Squeezed.
The second one combined Vivid Volt with Golden Olivine.
When they had dried, I used the template included with the challenge and cut the entire page into ATC-sized pieces.
That is one gorgeous pile of shimmering goodness.
Next I started going through my Technique Junkies Stash looking for images and sentiments that will work with a smaller palette. Remember, pieces of larger background stamps can be perfect, especially when you have your MISTI (did you know you can get a MISTI at the Technique Junkies Store) to help position the image.
This one used the butterfly corner of the Peony Collage with Rainforest Green Versafine Clair Ink.
I trimmed my piece slightly after stamping, so I could position it on an ATC-sized piece of coordinating cardstock to add some stability & a frame. The sentiment is from Typewriter Set punched with a 1 1/8" Circle Punch. I will turn all of my ATCs into cards. The sentiment is from
The City Background is another one that sizes down perfectly for an ATC.
I line my ATC up with the grid paper blocks and then use removable adhesive to hold it in place, since I don't want a magnet to get in the way of the stamp.
I finished with a Happy Birthday Sentiment from Simple Sentiments Set 1, Style a. I used one of the coordinating ATCs to stamp my sentiments.
The Butterfly Woman fit perfectly on an ATC.
I stamped her in Acorn Versafine Clair Ink & paired her with sentiments from That's What She Said.
I sponged this one with a little peach ink around the edges before mounting on the brown cardstock base.
My final ATC features The Best Gift stamped in Nocturne Versafine Clair Ink, which also fit perfectly on the small palette.
I love how you can really distinguish between the two different colors of Shimmering Bliss on the background of this one.
Hopefully I've given you some ideas for shopping your own Technique Junkies stash for ATC possibilities.

How to Create Shimmering Bliss Smoosh
My card uses Whimsical Garden and Always Hope. These too can be purchased at a 10% discount by using the code above.
Spray one colour of Shimmering Bliss over top watercolour paper or 110 lb white cardstock. Let sit 15 minutes.
Using a darker colour of Shimmering Bliss, spray over top of your first colour.
Quickly spray and smoosh your Shimmering Bliss with scrunched up cellophane such as Saran Wrap. Keep spraying and blot as Shimmering Bliss dries fairly quickly.
Here you can see the two tone colour from blotting the second colour.
Your card is ready to finish as desired.

Never Stop Believing
Hi! Jeanne here today!
Have you seen our latest challenge?
It's Artist Trading Cards (or Coins) that shimmer.
You can see all the details to enter HERE
Want a discount?
Use code TJ10Jeanne for 10% off at Technique Junkies!
I'm going to show you how to turn an Artist Trading Coin into a card.
I created a background by spraying a piece of white cardstock with Shimmering Bliss in Mixed Metals (Topper). When it was dry I stamped with Bubbles over the top in blue ink. I mounted the panel onto kraft cardstock and added a bit of white acrylic paint where my Artist Trading Coin will go.
To make my Artist Trading Coin I used a scrap of cardstock that was my scratch paper for another project. Save that scratch paper! I believe I used Shimmering Bliss in Harvest Sunset, Mermaid and Thulian Pink along with a stencil from A Colorful Life (Snowflake Flower).I stamped Never Stop Making Wishes and added dimension to the flowers with Nuvo drops. I then cut it out (it's 2 1/2") with a circle die.
Here is a closer look.

Which Crown?
Hello Technique Junkies Fans!
So sorry to be late today; I have been under the weather.
This is a quick and easy card using the funny Need a Crown stamp. I paired it with the Scribble Roses stencil from A Colorful Life. You can get these products for 10% off with code TJ10LeeAnn.
The image with sentiment was simply stamped on a card base using the MISTI. I colored the woman with Copics.
The card base was then put back in the MISTI (stamp still in position) and inked up the crown portion of the stamp with Versamark. The crown was heat embossed with gold ep. I used a Versamark marker to ink up the earring and heat emboss it as well.
I created a mask for the woman and then sponged light pink ink around the her. I then used a darker pink ink and sponged through the Scribble Roses stencil. Rhinestones on the crown and earring finish it off!
That's it! I hope I have inspired you to get crafty!

Remember you can save 10% on your entire order excluding new releases and clearance by using my code TJ10Ceal
To create the card I started with a Smoky Slate card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I placed the panel inside the Mini MISTI and then positioned the Flower Texture Collage over it, first I inked it up with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and then sprayed Mindaro, Miami Vice and Mardi Gras sprays over it. After the sprays dried which takes like 2 seconds I colored the sunflower using Copic markers and then spayed the entire panel again using Iridescent shimmering Bliss

Purple Wishes In The Wind
Greetings, and welcome. Lynda Joy here, with a card in my favorite color! Love my purple, and all the shades and hues.
I created the background for my card with Technique Junkies Shimmering Bliss on Strathmore multi-media paper. I spritzed on the Thulian Pink, Ocean Depth, and the Dazzle Shimmering Mists onto my craft mat. Then I ran an acrylic brayer through them, and ran the brayer down the panel. I love the way this creates that ripply look on the background. I repeated this until I achieved the desired look.
When it was completely dry, I put the panel in my Misti, and stamped the Technique Junkies NEVER STOP MAKING WISHES stamp. I stamped it about three times to get full coverage and darkness.
Some layering, striped patterned paper strip , and some fun dazzly fibers and mini sequins finish off my card.
Don't forget your 10% off your purchases by using my code, TJ10Lynda, at the checkout.
I hope you are enjoying these last weeks of summer fun. Be sure to stop back on September 1st for the Technique Junkies September new release blog hop.
Blessings,
