Ann Clack here! As we speak I'm on my way home from a wonderful trip to California from a car convention. Yup.....cars and cards. That's me!! My name on many sites is Stamps&cars to include both of my hobbies. Which do I love the best? Cards of course! But the cars ARE a close second!! This week I have used the Level Up technique in the current newsletter. The image is so rich in its color......it is from Twisted Papers. One thing that is really nice about using a vintage digital image is that you can print it off in any size you wish. Here I printed the image on the bottom a little larger than the one on top. It is VERY hard to see but I really truly did level up on the image. The corn husk and the cob are both cut out and mounted on foam tape. The cob is two levels higher than the base and the husk is one level. Hope you enjoy!!

Hi, it's Beth here with TRY THAT TECHNIQUE. This week Diana Enns and I challenged each other to use the Herringbone Technique. Diana blows this technique out of the water, and is the technique that caught my attention. From there, our weekly challenge was born.
We now invite the Technique Junkies to join in with us to create a card or project using the technique of the week. This week we work with the Herringbone technique which you can find in the December 2009 issue. It's not too old of an issue, so you should be able to place your fingers on it easily.
Each week we pick one winner who will have their winning card on the Technique Junkie home page for the entire week. Your name will be highlighted along with the name of the technique, and your card. All you have to do is submit a Herringbone card to the Yahoo Group. Please try to remember to link up your card to this post. I don't want to miss your card.
CONGRATULATIONS Jackie Kalchert. You are the winner this week, and will find your card on the Yahoo Home Page.
Stamp: Tiddlyinks digital

Glimmer Lace by Judy Jackson

The Glimmer Lace technique is such a fun and easy way to add that wow factor to a background. I have even used plastic lace doilies from the dollar store for the lace! Easy to rinse off and use again and again! I chose the colors for the technique to coordinate with the colors in the background paper and other colors used to create this focal image. The flower stamp is a retired stamp from Stampin' Up! and the word Art on the tag is from Heather's Stamping Haven in Nepean, Ontario. Tiny beads are attached with Crystal Effects.
Enjoy your week! I hope some creative time finds its way into your schedule!

Pencil and Ink by Ann Clack
Ann Clack Here! I hope you enjoy this card. It uses the Pencil and Ink technique from the recent August 2010 newsletter. It also uses the Veined Marble technique from August 2007 newsletter. I had a LOT of fun with the Veined Marble technique and have been slowly working my way through my stash! The stamp image is from I Brake for Stamps. This technique is just perfect for this type of stamp....even though it isn't a background stamp like the technique directions show. Hope you enjoy!
