Step Into Christmas

Hi everyone~Kathie McGuire here today to share another Side Step card. How do you like the blog post title? I don't know about anyone else, but Step Into Christmas by Elton John is one of my favorite Christmas songs! What could be better than creating cards with a TJ technique while listening to it???

I'm still sharing Christmas cads because I used the Side Step technique from the Fancy Folds and Motion CD for my 2010 Christmas card design. I made so many great cards and received so many compliments and thank you's from those who received them.

This card base is pre-printed, so I simply added a stamped ornament (Rubbernecker image from 10 or 12 years ago), a stamped greeting, and a lot of stickers and stickles.

Thanks for stopping by on your stamping Saturday!

Try That Technique: Designer Tiles

Hello, it's Beth Norman here, on a very snow day, welcoming you to this week's Try That Technique challenge. Each week Diana Enns and I challenge each other to use a technique from older issues, and this week we picked the Designer Tiles technique from the August 2008 issue.

Would you like to have your Designer Tiles card on our Yahoo group home page for the week? All you have to do is create a card and post it to the Yahoo group. Couldn't be any easier.

Last week, Barb Benson, created a Painted Puzzle card, and is the lucky winner this week. Congratulations Barb--your card is now on our home page.

Emboss or Die CD: White on White by Judy Jackson

This really and truly is White on White. But because of the half-pearls I had a hard time getting the scanned image to display a "pure" white on white image.
In addition to using the White on White Technique from the new CD, I watercolored the image of this sweet little girl. This image is from Stampin' Up! There a very pale shimmery lavender paper underneath the little girls. This is a fun and elegant way to create a lovely card.
Now my question to you is, "How soon are you going to pre-order the NEW Technique Junkie Emboss or Die CD? Just click on the sidebar or use the link below to place your order.

Pop Up Tunnel Card

Hi everyone, Donna here. Happy Friday to you!

Before Pat releases her next amazing CD, I thought I'd share a card I did for the Fancy Folds and Motion CD using the Pop Up Tunnel card tutorial. This is a very easy fold to do and I think it adds so much interest to a card.  The stamps I used are from I Brake for Stamps, colored very quickly with Prismacolor pencils.
