STAMPBOOKING - Come join the FUN!

HELLO Everyone, this is Chris Dickinson here! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend  Technique Junkie Newsletter celebrated the day by rolling out the newest CD!

Next week, the talented Technique Junkie Team is hosting a BLOG HOP featuring different techniques from the...Stampbooking: The Art of using Rubber Stamps in your Scrapbooks - we hope you will join us!!!

The Stampbooking CD features a whopping 75 tutorials for using rubber stamps to create titles, borders, frames, albums, embellishments, and so much more.  The CD is a collaboration between  TJ Publisher/Owner Patricia Huntoon and TJ Design Team MemberJane Bosi, both seasoned Stampbookers.

The 75 pdf tutorials on this CD are in step-by-step pictorial format -- easily printable to 8-1/2" x 11" paper. The CD works on both PCs and Macs with Adobe Reader.

Each tutorial includes at least two examples of layouts using the technique. With over 150 Stampbooked pages on the CD, it is worth it just for the inspirational artwork!

The CD Tutorials are divided into six categories:
- Title Techniques (13)

- Frame and Mat Techniques (11)
- Border Techniques (12)
- Embellishment Techniques (18)
- Background Tutorials (15)
- Albums, Journaling and other ideas (6)
All of the techniques included on the CD are listed on my site here:http://www.techniquejunkies.com/stampbooking-cd.html

You can order your CD HERE!

Non-Stick Color by Judy Jackson

Don't you just love to use techniques that are simple to create, and yet have a real impact? That is the case for this technique.
The morning glory image is from Stampin' Up and is the dot patterned stamp on the mustard layer. The background stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms. I sponged the edge of the flower panel with both mustard and red inks. It helps to tie it all together!
Have a great day! Be creative and get some inky fingers going.

Petroglyphic Sculpture 10/09

Hello TJ Friends! Kathie McGuire here on another stamping Saturday. I hope you're all having some TJ fun and are ready to take a look at one of my favorite TJ techniques: Petroglyphic Sculpture.

This technique was introduced in the 10/09 Technique Junkie newsletter. I LOVE this technique because it's fast and easy, yet it looks as though it would be very time consuming to make. It takes longer to get the supplies out of the drawers and cabinets than it does to make it.

This medallion was later backed with a pin back so I could wear it around a local convention. The stamp is from The Rubber Cafe and is just the perfect size for a lapel pin.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll try Petroglyphic Sculpture if you haven't tried it yet.

Stamp Happy!

Ann Clack's Color Sandwich!

My schedule had been so full with a prior commitment that my blog postings were few.  BUT here is one that I hope you enjoy.  This is a technique from the June newsletter called Color Sandwich!  Fun and easy to do!  This card is pure fantasy though.........there hasn't been any weather remotely close to flip flop weather in my part of the country.  Haven't seen my shorts yet either.  Had a winter coat on the other evening!

Brick Wall

Hello everyone, Donna here!

It's my turn to post today, and I've got an ATC to share with you. I used the Brick Wall tutorial from the December 2010 newsletter. I did mine a little differently, though. I used hexagons instead of rectangles and I used scraps of neutral colored papers instead of reds making mine look like a patio rather than a wall. It's an entirely different look, but the technique is exactly the same. I'm not sure about the stamps credit on this one because I ditched the packaging, but it's a clear stamp and I believe it's from Stampendous.

To my fellow U.S. junkies, have a fun and safe Memorial Day holiday!  To everyone else, have a great weekend!
