Try that Technique

Mornin' Ladies! Nancy Dawson here with another technique for you to try today. Featured in the April/May 2011 Technique Junkie Newsletter - With or Without Collage. Come on give it a try. Cherish Friendship - Pastel Painted Embossing

I love to use the Pastel Painted Embossing Technique on embossed cards.  This easy technique from the Emboss or Die CD adds pretty depth to the background of a simple card. On this card, I colored the goose with pastels and a blender before layering him over my background. All stamps by Stampin' Up!.

Copic Texturizing

Hi, Junkies, Donna here!

I realized at the last second that I couldn't post the card I planned to share with you today because I made it for a swap, and the recipients haven't seen it yet. I know some of them read this blog so we'll just have to wait on that one.

So instead, I'll share this card I made awhile ago using the Copic Texturizing technique featured in the April/May 2011 newsletter. I used an old washcloth to create a fur texture that's perfect for my bear and for lots of other animals, too.

The stamps used here are from Starving Artistamps, and the papers are from Basic Grey.

Hello Friends, this is Chris Dickinson from Wisconsin!! Todays card uses Mark's FInest Papers beautiful set called POPPIES, POPPIES, POPPIES! This is one of my favorite sets from Mark's Finest Papers. It is so fun to color!!! I decided to use the Technique Junkie Newsletter and the Sanded Core'dinations technique!
