{Jane Bosi}|  Happy Thursday!!  Today, I am sharing my Try That Challenge card featuring the 3D Shadows technique from the Stampin' Companion CD!!  While our goal with the original tutorial was to focus completely on the use of Stampin' Up! product, I've completed my artwork with supplies that ARE NOT found in the SU! catalog.  I love the versatility of this CD!!  My image is from a brand new Asian sheet at I Brake For Stamps, (TJ Vendor) called Lovely Geisha.  Isn't she gorgeous??  The entire art piece is colored with Copic markers :)  My verse comes from Unity Stamp Co.
I hope you've had fun with this challenge!  We will have a new one for you soon!  TTFN, Jane

Baby Bragbook

 Hi there!
Hetty here and I am waiting for our grandbaby to show himself,
so while waiting I have started to make a  6x6 bragbook.
Here you see two of the pages where I have used the
dotty edges technique from  the June/July 2012 TJ Newsletter
and also the Sanded Core'dinations from the April/May 2010.

I found this cute embossingfolder with tiny baby feet.
So sure that this one will be used a lot in the next few weeks.

The images you see here are digital images by
Create with TLC and colored with copic markers.
I chose to make colored dots as a frame to the picture
in coördination with the dots on the scrappaper behind it.

Now only my DD has to deliver the baby and  I can
finish of the pages with some pictures! Come on stork....
hurry up and fly!

Have a creative day!

Beeswax Beehive

I was fascinated by this tutorial in the newest newsletter and knew I had some sequin waste somewhere in my stash. Oh but where? Searched high and low and could not find it anywhere. I was so determined to try this that I improvised by taking a piece of acetate and punching holes in it. I just punched a couple of rows and moved it down the card front as I applied the wax. Is it perfect? no. It's homemade. Something I think we lose track of when we make our cards. They don't have to be perfect...it is a homemade card like no other that someone will feel special to receive.

So this is my improvised HOMEMADE version of the Beeswax Beehive technique. It was great fun! The only stamps I used are the bee from A Stamp in the Hand and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I used a computer printed photo of the beehive and colored it.

Thanks for looking and remember...it doesn't have to be perfect..it's homemade with love!

Circle color collage Post by Judy Jackson

Good day from Judy Jackson. Have you ever had a day or so when nothing you planned to accomplish was actually able to be accomplished?  Well, that has been the story the last few days!  I won't bore you with the details -- but does having three little granddaughters visit us give you any clues?  :)  We love them all dearly but -- oh my do they keep us busy!

This card is made with a brand new stamp set from Stampin" Up.  When I saw it, I knew it was "calling to me!"   I knew it would be perfect for the Circle Color Collage technique and many others!  How many TJ techniques can you think of that this set would work well with?   Just off of the top of my head I can thinks of a few within this current newsletter! I think you will see this stamp set again!

And the background embossed piece?  I do not remember the "exact technique" I used to create it but was a TJ one!  Would you believe the card stock is actually a light blue color?

Enjoy summer!

Ann's Dotty Edges

Ann Clack here with a cute little Sailor Girl from Peddler's Pack!  I used the Dotty Edges technique from the most recent newsletter.  She is colored with copic markers.  The background was made by spraying my copic marker on white paper then spattering it with a slightly darker color.  This card was used as a sample in my upcoming copic class!  Hope you enjoy this monochromatic card!

Holly Brown: Glitter Roll Banner

Hi Junkies!  It's Holly posting today, and I'm sharing this glittery card that I created using the Glitter Roll technique.  I love glitter, and this technique is a wonderful way to make sure that the glitter actually sticks on your project instead of your fingers!  LOL  I have a complete listing of the products I used to create this card as well as a cool tip on how to create the banner from a non-banner-shaped border die in my blog post here.    I hope you have a wonderful day!
