Chain Link

Hello, Beth Norman, here.  How is your week going so far?  Enjoying the cooler temperatures?  I'm already wearing my winter coat.

To brighten things up for you, I created a Chain Link card using stamps from Mark's Finest Papers.  I love sunflowers, hence the name of my blog Sunflowers and Dragonflies.  My image was coloured with Copic markers.

To create my band that separates the sentiment from the chain link, I used Washi tape.  Gotta love the stuff!

Tricia here with this weeks Try That Technique - Chain Link. This was a fun technique to do.  Here is another Christmas Card for my stash.

I used my cricut (and gypsy to cut out some snowflakes as I don't have any spellbinders or punches.  The stamp is from Stampin Up!

Tricia here with this weeks Try That Technique - Bleeding Tissue.  I finally got my order from Amazon after scouring the craft stores looking for it and I LOVE IT!

If you couldn't tell from my recent posts, I am getting ready for Christmas by doing my Christmas Cards.  I have about 1/6 done so you can bet you will be seeing more from me.

As with many of the technique junkie techniques this one was quick and easy.

Hi Technique Junks!

Hetty here, with one of the techniques rom the

Oct/Nov 2013 newsletter. Have you tried them?

Today I need a quick one, for I am just back

from the Club Scrap retreat in Kiberley Wisconsin

(whisch ofcourse was fantastic, meeting friends

and getting so much new inspiration).

I chose the online bonus technique:

Washi Weave.

There are so many diffrent rolls of

washi paper around and a lot of people

are trying to find some fun use

for it. How about using it

for decorating the background paper?

Halloween inspiration with Tim Holtz 

Mini Halloween 3 stamps that I just

bought in the US in my short shopping time

in between workshops.

It was fun to create cards again, but now i have to

go back to do some mor unpacking and gettin

my craft room organized with all

the new goodies!

Tri Cut Die

 

This technique is from the August/September issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter

All of the stamps are from Stampin Up. The flourish die cut is from Impression Obsession and the large die is from Spellbinders, on of the Grand Caliper  dies. . The card does have a white border which is hard to see with the white b/g.

Pasted Dylusions vs 3-D Gold by Judy Jackson

Good day from Judy Jackson.  Pasted Dylusions are just fun.  Since there are two techniques in the latest TJ newsletter, I thought it would be fun to make to two cards, using the same stencil, the gold or copper stuff, and see how different the two cards would look.

Stamps for Pasted Dylusions card are Sweet and Sassy Stamps.

Stamps for 3-D Gold are Studio G.

Try That Technique - Four Square
