Hi, it's Gini, here to share a little Technique Junkies inspiration with you. I had fun pairing this sweet and innocent Big Hat Girl with the cheeky Good or Evil sentiment. My focal image was colored with Gelatos directly to the stamped image.

Claaaams!
Before I get carried away,
let me remind you that you still have two days left to get 15% off
the new June Stamp Release at Technique Junkies!
Head on over there, now! Then come back and read my post...
...I'll wait. ;)

I just love the realistic feel of this stamp, Clam Shells!
Ooooh, the possibilities...
To make this card, I cut out the middle with a 1" frame and matted it.
Then, I attached it with foam tape to give it some depth.
I did the same thing with the top layer, but cutting out a bit off-centered.
I added some coordinating Dew Drops to accent the card.
I DID stamp the verse stamp, Winds of Change, BEFORE adhering it to the card.
Until next time...

Forever And A Day.....
{jane bosi}
Happy Thursday, Junkies!! I have a romantic grungy resist card to share today! Before I get started, just remember that all of the June Release Stamps are on SALE until Monday!! Get them while it's hot!!
I created a resist by stamping the beautiful and romantic Cottage Rose stamp with white ink and embossing powder. I added watercolors to the rose and leaf images. Later, I stamped the French Script in the open areas and then added to the grungy look by sponging in an earthy colored ink. A little lace and the heart warming sentiment, Forever and A Day finishes things off.
Give it a whirl and, don't forget to be awesome! TTFN, Jane

In Pieces
Good morning Junkies! Marilyn here and I have something a little different for you today. Jigsaw pieces! Yep, I purchased one of the large 24 count children's jigsaw puzzles and have set out to alter them into mini works of art.
I decided to work left to right, top to bottom. For my first piece, I first gessoed the pieces and then sprayed with Art Anthology Grass Colorations. Using some Art Anthology Stucco and the Pipe Dream stencil I stenciled on my background. Then using a sponge, I rubbed Art Anthology Tango Velvet over the entire piece. Lastly, I rubbed Art Anthology Tuxedo Velvet around the edges and added my sentiment, Winds of Change SD621.
Until later.................

For the second piece, I gessoed then sprayed with Waimea Bay Colorations. Next I stenciled on a random design using the Meridian stencil and Stucco by Art Anthology. Following that, I rubbed Tango Velvet over the entire piece with a sponge. Then I stamped The Rules SD618 (fast becoming a favorite), trimming it so it would fit. Finally I next rubbed Art Anthology Wineberry Velvet around the edges and added my trimmed stamp.
See how well they fit together? Well 2 down, 22 more pieces to go!
Don't forget, all June Releases are 15% off until the end of this week. Visit Technique Junkies to pick some up.

Evil Sister
Hello, there! It's Robin Redd (a.k.a. RockinReddRobin)!
I made this fun card with my sweet sister in mind. We both know who the evil sister is...lol.
I used P007 Let's Face It 2 stamp with black stamp pad.
I colored her in using Copic Markers.
And, then, there's this fun stamp...SD602 Good or Evil!
Until next time...

Everything Will be OK - Distress Ink Three Ways
Happy Saturday Junkies! So glad to be able to share with you another May release before we move on to June and some more super fabulous releases!
For this project I decided to showcase a TJ sentiment stamp "Everything will be OK" using Distress Ink/Markers three different ways with a stencil to make the background!
Here are the three cards:
To start each card I first stamped the sentiment in Versamark Black ink, covered with clear embossing powder and heat set (on 2 pieces of Neenah Solar white cardstock and 1 watercolor paper).
For the first card, distress ink was applied through the stencil with a blending tool (in rainbow colors). Before removing the stencil I applied Versamark watermark ink through the stencil and the added clear embossing powder (after removing the stencil). Normally Distress ink would remain "wet" long enough to hold the embossing powder itself but for this technique, the time it takes to ink the stencil prevents this. I love the shine this creates.
The second card background was done using the Tim Holtz Marker Spritzer. If you haven't checked this out it is such a cool tool! Each color of Distress marker used was loaded into the spritzer and applied (sprayed) onto the stencil creating the rainbow effect again except this time with a misted look!
The final card is a stencil mono print using the Distress ink minis. This is by far my favorite technique! Check out my blog for a couple of tutorials on this technique!
Love the bright and cheery look to these cards, which are so complimentary to the sentiment, to send to a friend or loved one going through a rough time!
Thanks so much for joining me again here at Technique Junkies! Stay tuned for the upcoming June releases and special Design Team blog hop next week!
Embrace Imperfection!
Pam
