Vintage Mantle

These two Technique Junkies just say Christmas!  And they pair so well with this festive background paper.  The Vintage Mantle stamp (www.techniquejunkies.com/vintage-mantle/)
, and the greeting from Gifts of Christmas ( www.techniquejunkies.com/gifts-of-christmas-set-of-5/)  go well together.

The image is colored with my Copic Markers.  I used a festive background paper that a vintage look to me.  Lots of layers finish the card.  I felt the background paper was embellishment enough.

I enjoy making Christmas cards, and I enjoy thinking of ways to make each card be festive but simple enough to mass produce.  This sure fits that bill!

There are lots of stamps to fit every mood, to fit lots of varieties of occasions, greetings, and images in the Technique Junkies store - http://techniquejunkies.com/  -  plus there are stencils, and Art Nuvo products, and all kinds of other items.  Have you checked it out?  And do you want a discount (I always want one!), please use this code TJ10Judy to get a 10% discount.

Have a wonderful day ---and get inky!

Two ways in the Moonlight

Good Morning!!!!

I wanted to feature the Santa in Moonlight set and show you a couple of ideas with it!

The first is a glittery confection..I actually Stamped in a Blue tone and then used some pretty turquoise glitter on the image. I added some copic marker shading to the moon and outlined her in Silver.

I created this background using Distress Oxide Inks, White Signo Pen and Stickles

I stamped the image on yellow cardstock and die cut a circle in the background for the moon show through. Using my Misti, I stamped the image on the background paper and embossed in Silver. That way I got the bright yellow Moon!!!!

I used the two stamps:

Have a wonderful weekend,

TJ Inkspirations: Vintage Stamping with Distress Oxide Inks

No other ink in the world blends as well as Distress Oxide ink. I know that is a pretty bold statement, but I truly love the way the inks move and blend. That makes them ideal to use to create the vintage style, sepia-toned background highlighted in the video.

Here are the stamps I am using today:
Greatest Oak

Holly Bird

Autumn is...

Hello friends! Giovana here today, sharing a fun Autumn card, for this project I used the new Autumn set.
Let me show you how I did it:
  • Start stamping the leaves on White cardstock in Memento Rich Cocoa, then color them with markers, here I used Spectrum Noir LG1, LG2, LG3, TN1, TN2, TN3.
  • Cut out all the leaves and distress ink all the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
  • Stamp the leaves on the card front using your MISTI, used fall color inks.
  • Stamp sentiment on a piece of gold cardstock in Black Ink, add strips of gold cardstock to each side.
  • Adhere sentiment on card front, then add leaves to each side.

Here is the card, as a final touch I added baker's twine and clear dew drops.

You can get this set and more from the September release HERE, and if you find any other stamp you like (except September release), you can use this code and get 10% off!!

Hope you like it!
Have a great day!
