If I had a flower

Hello friends! Giovana here today.
Hope you all are having an amazing day!

For today's project I used one of the sayings part of the new, just released "In Full Bloom Sentiments

First, I created a background piece on watercolor paper with Tangerine Color Burst Powders, set aside to dry.
Once your piece is dry, stamp sentiment in Chocolate Ink, do not remove your stamp from Misti.
Use Lace Close-Up Stencil and add white pigment Ink, then put your panel back on your Misti and stamp sentiment again until you get the perfect and dark impression you want.
Position your stencil back on sentiment and add Clear Embossing Paste, this will give your panel a shiny look.

Stencil front of white card with Lace Close-Up Stencil in Tangelo Memento Ink.

Add sentiment on card using foam adhesive.

She Judges Everyone

While I don't have any kitties ... I have plenty of friends who do ... so I had a lot of fun creating with these adorable Technique Junkies stamp sets (remember, you get 10% off your order with code TJ10Stephanie at checkout).

First I stamped the cute little Cat Frame in brown ink on Ivory Cardstock.  I used colored pencils on the eyes and nose.

I paired him with sentiments from Cat Greetings (all mounted on foam tape for dimension.  I used my new Cut-Align from My Sweet Petunia to get a perfect border around my image & sentiments.

How about the same kitty stamped in grey ink on grey paper with bright green eyes.

Another fun sentiment from the Cat Greetings for this sweet girl.

Full Bloom

I used two Technique Junkies Stamps to create this card.  I used Sketched Flowers and In Full Bloom Sentiments.

I used the side of  dye based markers to apply ink to the Sketched Flowers rubber stamp. I first applied ink to the stems and leaves and stamped that.  Then I used shades of yellow and apllied that  to the stampand stamped that.  Using a stamp positioner tool such as the MISTI  is essential in stamping a large background stamp like this.    I added a bit of brown Nuvo glitter pen to the flower centers.

The greeting was heat embossed with detail black embossing powder.  I used my heat gun to carefully distress the bow.

Friends Are Flowers

Greetings!  I am back today with another card using the Technique Junkies new March release stamps.  For my card today I used these TJ stamps:
Dogwood JT014
In Full Bloom Sentiments Set of 6 SS105

On water color paper, I gold embossed the Dogwood image.  I water colored the background first, then the dogwood blossoms and branches.

I embossed the verse from the In Full Bloom set onto the same water color paper, and attached it with foam tape for dimension.

I mounted the whole shebang onto old gold card stock, then onto a blue A2 card.

And for the inside:

I hope you were inspired by my card today, and have been enjoying the designers' cards.  If you would like a 10% discount in the Technique Junkies store,  use my code TJ10Lynda at the checkout.

Thanks for your comments.

Blessings,

Dogwood Background

Hello Technique Junkies!
It's Ceal, here to share a card with you today featuring the Dogwood Background from the March release.
You can save an additional 10 % by using my code TJ10Ceal

To create this card I started with a neutral card base, a pink mat cut down a quarter of an inch smaller and a white panel. Using the Original Misti because I wanted to make sure I got a crisp image, I stamped the image on the paper using a black hybrid ink. I used Copic markers to color the dogwoods. For the greeting I used the Happy Easter stamp.
